    Ladies hiking group

We were 7 women traveling as a group. Everything went smooth with 5 star transportation and a fantastic chef, Royer, who prepared us healthy meals. We were very fortunate to enter the magical Macchu Picchu archaeological site later in the day when most tourists had left. We also visitied the Mara salt mines, an alpaca/llama sanctuary where we could shop for authentic textiles. We even had a cooking class where we shopped for our ingredients at the San Pedro market in Cusco. Hotel accomodations were really great- it mentioned that they were 3 star but I would give the hotels one more star and give 4 stars. We traveled by mini bus, big bus, train and of course on foot. After our big hike we spent the following day at a “secret” hot spring resort. Perfect for our sore muscles. Our age group ranged from mid 30s to 71. You would need to be somewhat fit for these activities but Lizandro, our guide and chaperone was very patient with everyone. I can’t wait to return and at that time go to the condor view points. Fun trip with a fun group- lots of laughter and lifetime memories.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for trusting Panaka Travel and for sharing such a lovely review! 💛 We are absolutely delighted that all seven of you enjoyed the experience so much. Knowing that a group ranging in age from their thirties to seventy-one shared a journey filled with laughter and lifelong memories is the best reward we could ask for. We will pass your kind words along to Lizandro—for his patience and companionship throughout the trip—and to Royer, for the healthy meals prepared with such care. We are also glad that the transportation and hotel lived up to expectations—especially with that bonus fourth star you enjoyed. 😉 It was a pleasure for you to experience Machu Picchu during a quieter time, explore the Maras salt mines, buy authentic textiles at the alpaca and llama sanctuary, cook after visiting the San Pedro market, and relax in the hot springs after the big hike. And regarding the condor viewpoints: it will be a pleasure to welcome you back and join you on that next adventure! Warm regards to the whole group. The Panaka Travel Team

    +

Prices start at $630 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

    +

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
