good trek

May 2026 The Annapurna Circuit with the Tilicho Base Camp side trek is, without a doubt, one of the most rewarding trekking experiences in the Himalayas. Every day offers something different—from lush forests and waterfalls to deep river gorges, traditional mountain villages, and finally the stark beauty of the high-altitude landscape. The side trip to Tilicho Base Camp was absolutely worth it. The scenery becomes more rugged and dramatic as you approach the base camp, surrounded by towering snow-covered peaks and massive cliffs. It is one of the most breathtaking sections of the entire trek. Crossing Thorong La Pass was the highlight of the journey. Standing at over 5,400 meters, it was physically demanding but incredibly satisfying. The panoramic views from the pass made every step of the climb worthwhile. One of the best aspects of the Annapurna Circuit is its diversity. The landscapes, climate, culture, and architecture change noticeably as you move through different regions, making every stage of the trek feel unique. The teahouses were welcoming, the local people were friendly, and the trail was well-established while still retaining a sense of adventure. This trek requires good preparation and proper acclimatization, but the rewards are immense. Whether you're looking for stunning mountain views, cultural experiences, or a challenging high-altitude adventure, the Annapurna Circuit with the Tilicho Base Camp detour delivers on every front. I would highly recommend this trek to anyone seeking an unforgettable Himalayan experience. It is a journey that stays with you long after you've returned home.

Wonderful trekking experience

I did the Mardi Himal trek (5 days) and the Anapurna Circuit (12 days) with the Guide Som. Chrystal Holidays Adventure helped organizing everything (Permit, Hotel, etc.) I had an amazing time!! Som is a very good guide and was very helpful. Everything worked smoothly. I can totally recommend! Ask for Som :)

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Definitely we will arrange your third trekking soon with our amazing guide Mr.Som. Have a great time Berg.

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
