    Poor execution of tour, disappointed.

we have been directed to the centre of town and told where to go with out a map. There has been little assistance re what to see, where to see it and how to get there. Accommodation has been reasonably isolated. They are very good at dropping and leave. Bus cleanliness, driver, and guide have been polite and efficient. I will not book with this company again, not recommend them.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We’re glad, however, that you found our bus, driver and guide polite and efficient. We truly appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration to continue improving our service. Kind regards

    Exceptional trip.

Very interesting places, the guide tour Vanessa is very knowledgeable and helpful. Some time to enjoy by ourselves as well. Pay attention only to VPT starting time as VIATOR got it wrong.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that Vanessa's knowledge and helpfulness made your experience even more memorable. It's also great to know that you appreciated having some free time to explore on your own. Thank you as well for pointing out the issue with the starting time shown by Viator. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We always recommend following the departure time provided in our confirmation, and we'll continue working with our partners to help ensure this information is displayed correctly. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon!

    Beautiful trip

Look, 11 days to visit 7 cities including Madrid, which is the apple in Europe nowadays, seems ambitious. It is a marathon. If you are healthy and strong and can go for the long walks, go for it. Made these trips starting in Madrid where I spend part of the year.It took me months to complete the list above. If the tour company that you hired is organized with good transportation I guess you can do it. It is expensive to eat and all the tickets are expensive too. But the Alcazar, Alhambra and all the other tickets in advance.

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Madrid can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 264-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

On Outty we rank every Madrid experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Madrid Essential: Historic Center, Plaza Mayor & Royal Palace, Madrid Walking Tour from Puerta del Sol to Retiro Park, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
