    Very disappointed with Julia Tours

We were so disappointed with the tour organizer. Poor communication at its best. It started off with no updates as the time got closer. I reached out to them three weeks before only to find out the pick up location had been changed. We had to change our hotel reservation which ended up costing us over 100 euro more. We waited at the pickup location and no representative was on site. Finally a Julia bus showed up and a rep spoke nothing but Spanish. No tour package for us. We had no idea what hotels we were staying at. We were the only two English speaking persons and yet we booked an English speaking Tour. Very disappointing. Marisia the tour guide was very helpful throughout the trip. She took us under her wing and explained the best she could in English. I must say the hotels were very good. Probably the only reason I’m giving it a three star. We were very surprised that people were transferring off and on during the tour. Seemed like multiple tours coming together at different times. We changed buses part way through. The original bus and driver was very good. Roberto was very professional and the bus was always clean. A far cry for the second one. The windows were dirty inside and out. The airconditioning was either at full blast or not on at all. Most times people wore scarfs or sweaters due to the cold air blowing on their heads. The driver never did get the wifi working. Very disappointing to say the least. If this is how Julia Tours operates I would not recommend booking a tour with them.

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Madrid and add a light layer if any part of the 264-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Madrid?

    +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Madrid?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Madrid?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
