Our 10-day journey through Jordan with Tour Experts was nothing short of extraordinary. Jordan Was Incredible — But the Way We Experienced It Made It Unforgettable
Before this trip, we thought we were booking ten days in Jordan. What we didn't realize was that we were about to experience one of those journeys where the people, the organization, and the small details become just as memorable as the destinations themselves. After ten days on the road, countless kilometers, early mornings, long conversations, incredible meals, and more unforgettable landscapes than we can count, we can confidently say that Tour Experts delivered far more than a sightseeing itinerary. They delivered an experience that felt genuinely personal from beginning to end. And two people deserve special recognition for making that possible: Lucy, our agent, and Motaz, our driver. From the very beginning, we knew we had made the right choice The first thing that impressed us was the communication. Planning a ten-day trip in another country can easily become overwhelming. There are hotels, transportation, sightseeing, timing, activities, and countless little details that need to fit together. Lucy made the entire process feel remarkably straightforward. She was professional, responsive, patient with our questions, and genuinely interested in understanding what we wanted from the trip. It never felt like we were simply choosing a pre-packaged tour. It felt like someone was actually listening to us and building a journey around our expectations. That feeling continued after we arrived. Ten days, and Jordan kept changing One of the reasons we loved this trip so much was the incredible variety. Amman introduced us to the energy and personality of Jordan's capital. Then came Jerash, where we walked through an ancient Roman city and were surrounded by enormous columns, temples, and streets that have survived for centuries. In Madaba, we discovered beautiful mosaics and another side of Jordan's history. At Mount Nebo, we slowed down and enjoyed the views and the significance of the location. The Baptism Site gave us one of the most reflective experiences of the trip. And then came Petra. There are places you visit because you've seen them in photographs. Petra is a place you visit and then realize that the photographs were never enough. Walking through the Siq and seeing the Treasury appear for the first time was genuinely breathtaking. But what surprised us most was the scale of Petra beyond that famous façade. We had time to explore, walk, take photographs, stop when we wanted, and appreciate the details. We weren't being rushed through it. That made a huge difference. Then Jordan turned into another world After Petra, we headed toward Wadi Rum. The change was almost unbelievable. One moment we were surrounded by ancient stone architecture, and not long afterward we were surrounded by enormous desert mountains and endless open space. We explored Wadi Rum by Jeep and watched the landscape change as the sun moved across the sky. Then came the sunset. It was one of those moments when everyone naturally becomes quiet. The rocks changed color. The shadows became longer. The desert became still. And for a few minutes, nobody seemed interested in taking photographs anymore. We were simply watching. Spending the night in Wadi Rum made the experience even more memorable. Waking up in the desert the following morning was something we'll never forget. The Dead Sea brought the perfect ending After all the walking and exploring, the Dead Sea was exactly what we needed. We relaxed, enjoyed the scenery, and tried the famous floating experience. It really is as strange as everyone says. The first few minutes were spent laughing and trying to understand why our bodies suddenly refused to sink normally. But it was the perfect contrast to everything we'd experienced before. That's what made the ten-day itinerary so effective. Jordan never felt repetitive. Every destination gave us something different. Motaz made the road part of the adventure We can't talk about this trip without talking about Motaz. Ten days is a long time to spend with a driver, and by the end of the trip, Motaz felt like much more than the person driving us from place to place. We talked about Jordanian culture, food, traditions, history, family life, places we were visiting, and plenty of completely random things. There were a lot of laughs. Motaz also had an excellent sense of when to give us space and when to make a suggestion. He never made us feel like we were being rushed. If we wanted to stop for photographs, he was happy to help. If we wanted to stay longer somewhere, he worked with us. If we needed a break, he noticed. And throughout the entire trip, we felt safe. By the final few days, getting into the car each morning felt familiar. It was no longer just transportation. Mohammad planned the entire itinerary for me and it far exceeded my expectations. His driver Nabil is so friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and very punctual.
