Good experience but description is misleading

The description says that everything was included in the package I.e. equipment and parking fees etc. we still had to pay cash at the site for admin “fees” which was about $50 AUD for both of us. We had a good experience ngl. The people also went above and beyond for our safety and the driver was also great at taking videos and photos.

This is the tour you want!

First, Rio was a fantastic driver and guide. Incredibly kind and offered excellent insight into my trip. He went above and beyond to make this a truly memorable trip. Now for the attractions. Despite being peak tourist season, the lines and crowds were not bad at all. I managed to see and do everything without feeling rushed or overcrowded. The guides at each place were helpful and extremely professional. Jomblang photos dont do the experience justice, but they do come pretty close! Goa Pindul was relaxing by comparison, I had seen the photos online of the cave and river absolutely packed, but I had the cave almost entirely to myself and my guide. Only a few other people. There are many many bats, but theyre all asleep and dont come anywhere close to you. The food and snacks along the way were all tasty and cool!

    Amazing

Absolute FUN!! I got too scared to be lowered into the cave but the cave tubing was a great time. My guide was very informative and I had a great time learning about Javanese culture. Highly recommend.

Awesome day out and best tour guide

Best day out at both caves and could not have asked for a better tour guide, Maria was awesome. She was great company, took care of us and took photos for us as well.

    10/10

The trip was amazing, the caves and the photos look just as amazing in person, and the tubing was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Our driver Maria was absolutely incredible, one of the nicest people you will ever find. She was so patient when I spoke (or tried to) talk in Indonesian, even told me of a word to be careful about (thanks Maria!)

1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yogyakarta.

How much does 1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing cost?

    +

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yogyakarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yogyakarta is not rushed.

Is 1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 97 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yogyakarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing?

    +

Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yogyakarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yogyakarta and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 1 day Yogyakarta Tour Jomblang cave and Pindul Cave tubing start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yogyakarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Yogyakarta?

    +

On Outty we rank every Yogyakarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yogyakarta Private Car Hire with Driver, From Surabaya / Malang : Mt Bromo Sunrise - Ijen Blue Fire 2D1N, Borobudur Full Climb Up And Prambanan ALL INCLUSIVE PRIVATE Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Yogyakarta?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Yogyakarta?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
