    Great day trip!

This was an excellent day trip! I found myself in Mumbai last minute for a work trip and had a day to spare and decided to go see the Taj Mahal by myself. Everything was managed seamlessly. The drivers — Guddu and Mukesh — were prompt, polite, and guided me through everything. After a minor flight delay (unavoidable), Mukesh greeted me with a marigold hizab and made up for time without making me feel rushed. We stopped for coffee and snacks before reaching Agra, where Vijay Chauham took over and guided me through the beautiful Taj Mahal. He had a great knowledge of the history and the city and pointed out plenty of interesting things I would have missed on my own. He took great pictures too! It was clear he loves the Taj and the city and made it a truly special experience. Lunch was a great buffet. Overall a fantastic day!

Solo female traveler Taj Mahal trip from Mumbai

I was in Mumbai for work and really wanted to visit the Taj Mahal, but I wasn’t sure about making the trip on my own as a solo female traveler! At one point, I was ready to abandon my plans altogether. Thankfully, I didn’t! While searching online, I came across Nikita Holidays and decided to trust my instincts and book a tour with them. I’m so glad I did. The entire experience was smooth, enjoyable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Everyone I met was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. My tour guide, Vijay Chauhan, was incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about his work. He explained everything in detail and made the visit much more meaningful. He also helped me take some wonderful photos at the Taj Mahal! The drivers, KK Sharma and Guddu, were excellent—friendly, reliable, and highly dedicated to their jobs. Lunch was included, and I dined at Sun BBQ, where the food was delicious. I was especially impressed by Nikita Holidays’ efficiency and customer service. When my flight schedule changed, they immediately adjusted and rebooked everything for me without any hassle. Thanks to their excellent planning and support, my dream trip to the Taj Mahal became a reality. I highly recommend Nikita Holidays to anyone or any solo female traveler looking for a well-organized, safe, and memorable travel experience!

Be aware! Terrible Guide - ROCKY

Now without the guide Rocky watching and forcing me to post a review I will tell how I felt about this tour. The Taj Mahal was fabulous. However, the tour was to include a golf cart to and from the Taj Mahal, but the Guide Rocky made us walk to the Gate and I had to ask for it on the way back. It was 107 degrees and my husband and I are 69 and 70 years old. We ate at the Barbeque Sun restaurant which was great. Here Rocky forced me to write a review, while he watched, before we could leave. He then took us to several high pressure artisan presentations, I felt like I was at a time share sales room. They did not want to take no for an answer. I finally said I’m not going to buy so stop. This wasted time, cost us the rest of the tour. I can’t comment on Fort Agra because we only drove by it. I paid to go in but after the high pressure sale pitches we were out of time. Very disappointed and would never book with this company or Guide ROCKY again. Halfway around the world to not get what was paid for.

Fantastic 1-day tour from Mumbai for the Taj Mahal!

Excellent tour - it was a quick-turnaround in a day for a trip to the Taj Mahal while staying in Mumbai. Nikita Holidays organised the itinerary well, KK & Raj took great care of me from collection in Delhi, to Agra and back. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable the entire day. If you can stay longer. Agra is a wonderful place to stay overnight, but this was perfect for my trip.

1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mumbai.

How much does 1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights cost?

    +

Prices start at $550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mumbai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights take?

    +

Plan for about 17 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mumbai is not rushed.

Is 1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 103 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mumbai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 17-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights?

    +

Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mumbai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mumbai and add a light layer if any part of the 17-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 1-Day Trip to Taj Mahal and Agra from Mumbai with Both Side Commercial Flights start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mumbai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mumbai?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mumbai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Elephanta Caves & Island Guided Private Tour, Dharavi Slum Tour, Mumbai: Dharavi Slum & Dhobi Ghat Laundry Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mumbai?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mumbai?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
