Not for adult only groups
There is a note on the back wall -no refunds. This is here because once you have paid the extortionate entrance fee and realise this is a park for young children you immediately want to leave. In the park for less than 10 minutes and realised there is absolutely nothing of value unless you have young children. The owner doesn’t care. He’s got your money. A really sour end to a fabulous trip where we fell in love with Finland

Great day out
We had a lovely time with the kids here, the snow was melting so some of the activities were closed but the staff were really understanding about our frustration with that and Rita in particular was so helpful and attentive, Rita went out of her way to find us inflatable tubes for sledging and we received complimentary hot chocolates for everyone all day. Plus the 3 x kids got to try the snow mobiles complimentary too. The staff here are so nice and accommodating. The buffet was fantastic too. Overall we had a great experience here. Lots to do.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, thank you for the nice review. It is really unfortunate that spring time reached us a bit too early this year for you to do all the winter activities but we are really happy to hear our staff were able to make your visit great :) Will forward your thanks to the staff!

Fun filled day for every age!
We had an amazing day at WinterPark. We booked the family package that gave us access to the park, buffet lunch and a reindeer sleigh ride. The reindeer ride was a little bit depressing.....the reindeer all looked miserable and they were all chained together in a line for the walk around so I wouldn't recommend that. The other activities were great though. Ice skating, snow shoeing, alpine skiing and a big sledding hill all free to use as much as you want. There were mini snowmobiles (at an extra cost) that the kids could drive themselves. We also tried the ice karting. This was a fun activity however we were on a temporary track which was a lot smaller than the main one so it got quite boring going round and round the same circle for 30mins. This was a shame as it wasn't highlighted that it was a temporary track when we booked so I would check this before booking and maybe wait to book on the day rather than in advance. The buffet lunch was fab, something for everyone and very tasty.

Lapland Winter Park - Day Visit and Buffet
Our initial impressions of Lapland Winter Park were unfortunately quite poor, largely due to the arrival process. We used the complimentary shuttle service, which arrived at the same time as a number of private transfers. Reception staff were clearly overwhelmed and unable to process everyone quickly, leaving guests — including families with young children — standing outside in around -20°C temperatures while an icy gale was blowing for over half an hour. This was far from an ideal welcome. Thankfully, once we were finally inside, the experience improved hugely. Our children (aged 9 and 6) absolutely loved the range of activities on offer. Sledging, ice skating, snowmobiling, and playing ice hockey, as well as regular hockey and football in the snow, kept them entertained all day. Meeting the reindeer was also a really lovely experience and a memorable highlight for the whole family. We did try cross-country skiing, but this was poorly managed. There was a clear lack of available skis and no organised queuing system, which made the area feel chaotic and frustrating compared to the otherwise well-run activities. The standout highlight for the adults was definitely the buffet meal — it was delicious, varied, and exactly what was needed after hours in the cold. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning winter scenery that really captures the magic of Lapland. We visited for the day before heading on to Levi for a ski holiday, and despite the difficult start, it proved to be a perfect introduction to our winter adventure.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed and valuable feedback regarding your day visit to Lapland Winter Park. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the poor impression you received upon arrival. This is certainly not the warm welcome we aim to provide, and we deeply regret the discomfort and frustration this caused. This issue will be addressed for the next season as we are expanding our reception building proving separate check in desks for park visitors and accommodation guests. This will ensure a fluent, warm and welcoming entry to all visiting our resort. We also appreciate you bringing the issues with the cross-country skiing to our attention. We are addressing this by increasing the amount of equipment and also we are investigating if we can implement a proper, organized queuing system as well. We are, however, very pleased to hear that the remainder of your experience was so positive. Meeting the reindeer is indeed a highlight, and we are glad it created a memorable family moment. Finally, we are delighted that the buffet meal was a standout for the adults—delicious and varied—and that you appreciated the beautiful winter scenery. Your comprehensive feedback is greatly appreciated, it helps us to improve and ensure that all future guests enjoy the full magic of the Lapland experience from the moment they arrive. Hope to see you again someday :)

1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rovaniemi.
How much does 1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi cost?
+
Prices start at $82 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rovaniemi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rovaniemi is not rushed.
Is 1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rovaniemi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rovaniemi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rovaniemi and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 1 Day Pass Lapland Winter Park in Rovaniemi start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rovaniemi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rovaniemi?
+
On Outty we rank every Rovaniemi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Northern Lights Rovaniemi: Guaranteed Viewing & Unlimited Mileage, Rovaniemi: Korouoma Canyon & Frozen Waterfalls Tour with BBQ, Rovaniemi:%100 Guaranteed Northern Lights Hunt&Free Photos. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rovaniemi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rovaniemi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
