TERRIBLE experience.
Was very thankful, my wife was not feeling well the day we were supposed to go and the excursion allowed us to move the day for a fee. However the day of our excursion we were picked up with solo transportation. We were then taken to the WRONG zip line place where they completely harnessed us up and were about ready to go zip line when then we were told the driver took us to the wrong place and they had to take us out of our harness and get back on the bus to go to the right one. We then got to the right one and when asking how many zip lines there were as the description said 6, we were told we actually were only doing 4 because 2 of them were broken. So we did the 4 zip lines and then they offered us some fruit and that was it. We were at the correct place for approximately 40 min including getting our harnesses on. I would NOT recommend this excursion to others.

Awesome experience
This was awesome. We were picked up on time with an air conditioned van. The driver was friendly. The zip lining experience was great! The staff made us feel comfortable since this was our first time. I was very nervous the first line but then I was fine. I recommend this adventure highly. The driver even took us to a shop for souvenirs afterwards and took pics for us.

Don’t put the wrong hotel…God forbid 🙄
Zip lining was extremely fun and the driver (Luis) did an outstanding job! The only reason we gave this 4 instead of 5 stars was the person in charge(Ronny Figuera) of the excursion/transport. There is a “Dreams Punta Cana” and a “Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana” resort, well we booked this before we came soo we didn’t know they were different. Naturally the driver went to the wrong hotel and when we realized and took accountability for the mistake, this Ronny Figuera character not only harassed us about the error but also tried to over charge us for correcting it. After we took accountability and admitted our error he continuously went back and forth with us saying it’s our fault and they did their job we didn’t do our part etc. then wanted 20 USD to send the driver. Now, we had pesos 20USD = 1,000 pesos, when we told him we had pesos not USD he tried to charge us 1,200 pesos like we wouldn’t do the math ourselves, even the driver Luis verified it wasn’t 1,200 pesos. This guy is completely unprofessional and if not for him they would have gotten 5 stars. Don’t put the wrong hotel…God forbid 🙄

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Zip Line in Punta Cana: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.
How much does Zip Line in Punta Cana cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zip Line in Punta Cana take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.
Is Zip Line in Punta Cana worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zip Line in Punta Cana?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zip Line in Punta Cana suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Zip Line in Punta Cana?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zip Line in Punta Cana start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?
+
On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Punta Cana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
