    wonderful experience

The team were extremely professional and friendly, and we got to experience the Zambezi River in a whole new light. James, the captain, adjusted the difficulty level to suit our needs and tolerance for thrills; as the water was too cold, he didn’t let the boat capsize and us fall in, at our request.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed experiencing the Zambezi River in a completely different way. James and the entire team always aim to make every trip both exciting and comfortable for our guests, so we’re glad he was able to adjust the experience to match your preferred thrill level while keeping everything safe and enjoyable. We truly appreciate your kind words about our professionalism and friendliness, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure on the Zambezi soon!

    Awesome day, bin wunschlos glücklich!

We just had an incredible day with HSM, white-water rafting in the morning and a rhino safari in the afternoon, with a lunch break to visit the Livingstone museum in between. Howard, the owner, deserves special thanks. He was quick to respond, flexible with our wishes, and made sure every detail was taken care of. With HSM, we felt safe, cared for, and free to simply enjoy two unforgettable adventures. The rafting was a thrilling mix of adrenaline and stunning scenery. Captain James was phenomenal—experienced, calm, and kept our boat safe the whole way while others around us capsized. A safety kayaker shadowed us the entire time, and another paddled alongside just to capture incredible photos of the action. The teamwork was impressive, and honestly, I would have gone again the very next day if I had the time. The safari was a peaceful, but just as beautiful experience. We got to see eight rhinos (including 2 mothers with babies), along with elephants, zebras, giraffes, and herds of impalas. Our guide Cesar was friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole experience was easily the best value for money around.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing this detailed and wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your day with HSM Adventures was both exciting and memorable. It was our pleasure to combine the adrenaline of Zambezi white-water rafting with the tranquility of a rhino safari and cultural stop at the museum, giving you the best of Livingstone in one day. We greatly appreciate your kind words about Howard’s support, Captain James’ professionalism on the river, and Ceasar’s guiding expertise in the park. Safety, flexibility, and creating unforgettable experiences are at the heart of what we do, so it means a lot to know you felt cared for from start to finish. We’re so glad you enjoyed the teamwork on the water and the incredible wildlife sightings on safari—those rhino encounters are truly special! Thank you again for choosing HSM Adventures; we would love to welcome you back for another adventure next time you’re in Livingstone.
