    First class day out!!

From the first contact with Oskar, our chauffeur, to the last we could not fault his communication, organisation and professionalism. We asked Oskar to change some of the itinerary which he did willingly. The car was extremely clean and comfortable and snacks and drinks were provided should we require them during the day. The locations we visited were iconic of the region and we were given plenty of free time to peruse the different aspects whilst Oskar patiently waited for us to finish our excursions. Instead of the Thermal Baths we opted to have a horse drawn sleigh ride and even though the snow was quite scarce on the ground we managed to have a very enjoyable time. We would highly recommend this company and are happy to report that we came away with some wonderful memories.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your honest feedback, and we are very glad that Kraków and our surroundings will remain in your memory for a long time. There is still much to see, so we warmly invite you to visit us again.

    A truly memorable day!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful day trip from Krakow to Zakopane. The journey took us through some spectacular countryside where the Tatra mountains became a dominant and impressive feature. During the journey we stopped off at intervals to visit some extremely interesting locations where we were shown traditional forms of architecture and were made aware of local customs and traditions. We particularly enjoyed looking at the churches and visiting a cheese maker and a shepherd’s shelter. Here we sampled some freshly smoked cheese, together with a shot of plum vodka - wonderful! Zacapane’s market and streets were bright, colourful and busy. We really enjoyed the positivity and energy of the place. We travelled up a mountain side to the terminus of a funicular railway which added even more excitement to the day! When we reached the top we were met with the most spectacular views of the mountains and the valley below. It was truly awe inspiring! Up there, on the top, we immediately walked into another market where the energy and bustle was as it was below. In need of refreshment we visited a restaurant called the Po Widoki, where we were served a delicious glass of hot honey and ginger tea, together with a portion of tasty and filling dumplings! We experienced a genuinely memorable day thanks to our excellent tour guide, Oscar. He showed very good communication skills, as well as a sound knowledge and understanding of his itinerary. Throughout the day he was attentive, pleasant, patient and thoughtful. Oscar takes pride in his vehicle which he appears to keep clean and well maintained. He showed that he is a skilful driver who can confidently navigate the roads well. We felt safe and comfortable in his hands. We thank him for this and appreciate his professionalism!

    The besttt

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable day from Kraków to Zakopane! This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Everything was so well organised, making the journey comfortable, relaxing, and full of beautiful moments. The drive itself was scenic, but nothing prepared me for the breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains — truly something you have to see to believe. Zakopane has such a unique charm, from its traditional wooden houses and local markets to the incredible mountain atmosphere. Walking through the town, tasting local cheese, and learning about the culture made the experience even more special. The highlight for me was definitely the panoramic views — standing there, surrounded by nature, felt peaceful and unforgettable. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun while sharing interesting facts and stories along the way. You could really tell they cared about making sure everyone enjoyed the day to the fullest. If you’re visiting Kraków, this tour is an absolute must. It’s the perfect escape from the city, a chance to connect with nature, culture, and unforgettable scenery all in one day. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and well-organised experience. 🇵🇱🏔️✨

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Zakopane Private day trip from Krakow with Hot Springs, Cable Car cost?

    +

Prices start at $1375 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Zakopane Private day trip from Krakow with Hot Springs, Cable Car take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Zakopane Private day trip from Krakow with Hot Springs, Cable Car worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Zakopane Private day trip from Krakow with Hot Springs, Cable Car?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Zakopane Private day trip from Krakow with Hot Springs, Cable Car suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Zakopane Private day trip from Krakow with Hot Springs, Cable Car?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Zakopane Private day trip from Krakow with Hot Springs, Cable Car start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
