Hands down one of the best wine experience ever

The tour was fantastic, Marti was a really great guide and the place overall has a lovely, chill vibe. The communication with the venue was very smooth and the cava was delightful. Hopefully not our last time :)

Great time!!! Would definitely do the story again had a fun time with my fiancé learning about wine and tasting it. It was truly worth it.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! 😊 We’re really happy to hear you had such a great time and that you enjoyed the experience together with your fiancé. Learning about cava, tasting it, and creating your own bottle is all about sharing a special moment — so it means a lot to us that you felt it was truly worth it. Santiago was an absolute...

Santiago was an absolute joy! Very warm welcoming and hands on experience, the pickup from the train station was very easy and they were there waiting for us

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! It makes us really happy to know that Santiago made you feel at home — that’s exactly the Mediterranean spirit we love to share. We believe cava tastes even better when it’s made with your own hands and good company. 🥂 Hope to see you again under the Penedès sun!

Cava Delight

Martí was a fun and knowledgable host for a really enjoyable tasting and bottling experience. We will toast our next family event with Artcava cava! Alba from In Out Barcelona arranged our experience - and we think this is the funnest wine tour we have ever done.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely words! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a fun time with Martí during the tasting and bottling experience—he truly enjoys sharing the magic of cava. It makes us very happy to know that you’ll be toasting your next family event with a bottle made here at Artcava. What a special way to continue the memory! A big thank you as well to Alba and In Out Barcelona for connecting us. We hope to welcome you back one day for more farming moments to harvest memories. 🥂 Warm regards, Eric & the Artcava Team

We loved the entire...

We loved the entire experience, in no small part thanks to our host Santiago. He took care of us from beginning to end. Having grown up in the region where the wine is made, he has a personal connection to the place. He brought local color and intimate knowledge of their process of winemaking. Santiago is a charming and knowledgeable person and was the perfect guide.

Response from the operator: Hi Danilo, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words. We’re delighted to hear you loved the experience and that Santiago made it so special for you. He truly embodies the spirit of our winery, and we’re lucky to have him sharing his knowledge and passion with our guests. If your travels bring you back to the Penedès, we’d love to welcome you again. Cheers to many more memorable cava moments! Warm regards,

Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava cost?

+

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 79 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava?

+

Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Your Cava, Your Story – Wine workshop experience at Artcava start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

+

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

+

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
