Special Experience
The Jon Blanc cave tour is the best way to go! We went down from the cliffs to the bottom, walked through the dark caves, and the rays we saw where we arrived were beyond imagination! I'm especially grateful to Nanda for picking me up from the Jacuja. He gave me an unforgettable experience.

Highly Recommended - One of the Best Day Trips
I had an awesome experience on this tour with my driver Nanda. Nanda communicated proactively, confirming my hotel location and showing up right on time. The vehicle was very clean and professional and his English was very good. Nanda was a great driver (considering all of the traffic and scooters) and he taught me a lot as we talked during the ride. The tour in Jomblang was amazing. Nanda helped me take photos before and during the decent down into the hole. I chose this trip because I just wanted to do the cave and not the water floating into the other cave. I would 1000% recommend this trip and would highly recommend Nanda.

Great tour in Yokjakarta
He was a very kind guide and was able to travel to various places. He was fluent in the language, easy to communicate with and easy to speak. It was a tour that made me want to travel with you again. Helmets in caves stink, so some travelers wore plastic bags and other clothing. You may want to bring your own.

Best Experience in Yogyakarta!
I joined the Jomblang Cave Tour with Bagus, and it was an unforgettable experience! He was professional, friendly, and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable — from the on-time pickup to the smooth drive through scenic villages. The descent into the cave was thrilling but felt completely safe thanks to the experienced guides. Inside, the view of the “ray of heaven” shining through the cave opening was absolutely magical and worth every bit of mud and effort. Afterward, we enjoyed a tasty local lunch before heading back. Overall, Bagus provided an amazing, well-organized adventure that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Yogyakarta!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We’re truly happy to know you enjoyed the experience and our service met your expectations. Your support means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you again on your next adventure.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yogyakarta.
How much does Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yogyakarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yogyakarta is not rushed.
Is Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yogyakarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yogyakarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yogyakarta and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Yogyakarta: Jomblang Cave Guided Tour with Lunch & Pickup start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yogyakarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yogyakarta?
+
On Outty we rank every Yogyakarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yogyakarta Private Car Hire with Driver, From Surabaya / Malang : Mt Bromo Sunrise - Ijen Blue Fire 2D1N, Borobudur Full Climb Up And Prambanan ALL INCLUSIVE PRIVATE Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yogyakarta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yogyakarta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
