Price performance is not right
We wanted to see as much of Java as possible in a short time on this trip. We also chose a more expensive provider as we wanted a bit more quality. However, we were disappointed with the quality. We made the request a few days before the tour started and only received information the day before the tour. Communication via Wapp was reasonably OK. The first 2 accommodations were terrible, the third was good. We often had the feeling that they just take the cheapest for customers to maximize profit.
Response from the operator: Dear, we are so sorry about your feeling that i can assure you NOT TRUE. We’re sorry to hear that your room experience didn’t go along with your expectations. However, our tour packages specify that we take 2*-3* room that CLEARLY WRITTEN IN OUR ITINERARY, especially in Bromo - as there is only one good hotel there i can tell and it is easily fully booked during low especially high season. You booked only 3 days (sept 22) before your tour date (sep 25), its hard to get a room in such very short time in a peak season in bromo and ijen area. Yet we gave you 4* hotel in yogyakarta just to make our guest happy because there are many more good hotel in yogyakarta and bali. The room in bromo you occupied is almost at the same price as the 4* hotel in yogyakarta, so we booked it not because it is cheap, as the price is almost similar to the 4* hotel in yogyakarta (eventhough this itinerary only includes 2*-3* hotel), but because it was the last better option in bromo in such high season with an extremely short time booking in advance. I kindly advise you to book days tour also especially that includes world's heritage visit minimum 14-7 days in advance to get the earliest morning ticket at 8.30 am. In only 3 days booking in advance it is absolutely hard to get any world's heritage site's ticket, including the Borobudur structure's ticket. You said okay to take what's left: the 10.30 am entrance that was still available, so we booked it for you. While the price for borobudur structure's ticket is all the same at any hour entrance session. You can check them yourself at the officials here: ticketcandi.borobudurpark.com We gave you a free/bonus visit to borobudur's nearby small temples to fill in the gap between puthuk setumbu hill sunrise and your borobudur entrance at 10.30 am. Yet you cancelled puthuk setumbu hill. Our SOP, I guess this is also applied by any other operator, that there is no refund if guest cancels/changes the tour route in the middle of the tour, YET WE REFUNDED YOU for breakfast near puthuk setumbu you canceled in the middle of the tour. I also checked with both yogyakarta driver and east java driver who took you along the tour they said the tour was great as usual, and you also said the tour was great-with a proof of a video. And please remember that we paid all the entrances to all objects in the itinerary, not partially like other more expensive operator. Yet we bonused you with additional free services like the 4* hotel in yogyakarta, free visit to pawon and mendut temple, breakfast refund you got. But things happened. All in all we wish you a happiness in your life. We’d love to have the opportunity to be able to help you again anytime in the future. Best regards, Yoan And Team

Great experience, would recommend!
We were quite nervous about this tour as it didn't have any reviews but we are very happy to have taken the risk! Yoan, our tour operator was so great, she took so much care of us and made us feel so safe, checking in regularly with our guides to make sure we were fine and all our needs were met. The guides were all great lovely and warm people who will remain in our hearts for ever! Hospitality and kindness are right at home in Indonesia! The tour was full on, not a lot of time for rest but we wouldn't have it any other way! Considering our limited time in Indonesia, this tour was the crash course we needed to see as much possible! There was a small hiccup in Bromo where our accommodation was not as advertised in the photos (which were taken a looong time ago when the place was renovated which was no longer the case) but Yoan took her whip out and found us a better place. While we were looking at quite a few other options, we soon realised that accommodation in Bromo generally is quite poor so for any future holidaymakers out there, be mentally and emotionally prepared! It will be tough, it will be cold, it will be a difficult hike but worth the experience! Thank you Java Tour For School and Yoan for this experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Alida. I hope you are doing great back there. We are truly happy to know that you're happy, especially with this tight schedule-tour :) Because our priority is to serve our guest well at our very best though sometimes we unintentionally experience some accidents. We really wish you all the good and happiness in every aspect of life! Take care! :) Best, Yoan Reservation.

Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included.: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yogyakarta.
How much does Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included. cost?
+
Prices start at $745 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yogyakarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included. take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yogyakarta is not rushed.
Is Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Yogyakarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included.?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included. suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included.?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yogyakarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yogyakarta and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Yogyakarta-Bromo-Ijen Blue Fire-Bali, All Entrances Included. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yogyakarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yogyakarta?
+
On Outty we rank every Yogyakarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yogyakarta Private Car Hire with Driver, From Surabaya / Malang : Mt Bromo Sunrise - Ijen Blue Fire 2D1N, Borobudur Full Climb Up And Prambanan ALL INCLUSIVE PRIVATE Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yogyakarta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yogyakarta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
