    Highly recommended

This city walking tour was an absolutely amazing experience, especially for first-time visitors! Our tour guide, Olga, was such a lovely and knowledgeable girl and she went far beyond simply following the tour itinerary. She was happy to answer every single question we had and by the end of the tour, we felt like we had learned so much about Armenia, we genuinely had no questions left unanswered! The gata was delicious, and the Armenian coffee was the perfect addition to the whole experience. Everything was thoughtfully organized, informative, and enjoyable from beginning to end. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the city!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! ❤️ We’re delighted that your first introduction to Armenia was such a memorable one. It’s lovely to hear that you enjoyed discovering our culture, traditions, and local flavors along the way. We truly appreciate your kind recommendation and hope to welcome you again for more Armenian experiences! 🇦🇲✨

Good way to see the city

Good tour and a great way to see the city. Though it was very hard to hear the commentary between the noise traffic and broken microphone.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! 😊 We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and found it a great way to explore the city. We’re sorry about the difficulty hearing the commentary due to the traffic noise and microphone issue. We really appreciate you pointing this out and will look into it to improve the experience for our future guests. 🙏

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really enjoyable experience! The double-decker bus was a great way to explore the city and see the main sights without having to worry about transportation. The views from the upper deck were especially nice, and being able to hop off and continue the tour later was very convenient. Everything was well organized, and we had a great time. Definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the city for the first time ☺️

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! ☺️ We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed exploring the city from the upper deck and found the hop-on hop-off option convenient. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back again! 🚌❤️

    Advertised as a hop on...

Advertised as a hop on hop off. After you pay you get a message that’s it’s a 90 minute bus tour of the city with one stop for 20 minutes to take photos. The tour guide spoke Russian and English but unfortunately I couldn’t tell the difference. Don’t waste your money.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your opinion. However, we would like to point out that all information about the tour format was clearly provided in the tour description before booking. The description explicitly explains that this is a fixed-route sightseeing tour and not a traditional hop-on hop-off service. Unfortunately, it seems that your expectations may not have matched the actual format of the experience you booked. Because of this, we believe your review may unintentionally mislead future travelers, as it does not objectively reflect the service that was advertised and delivered. We would also like to mention that during the tour your negative attitude noticeably affected the atmosphere for other guests and impacted their overall experience as well. The tour is conducted in both English and Russian because we welcome both English-speaking and Russian-speaking travelers in the same group. Commenting negatively on the guide’s English is quite unfair and disrespectful, especially considering that the guide is certified and has been successfully conducting tours for many years. In any case, we respect your point of view and appreciate your feedback. We simply kindly encourage future travelers to carefully read the tour description before booking in order to choose an experience that best matches their expectations. As for whether the price is fair or not, we are happy to leave that judgment to the many other guests who have genuinely enjoyed this tour and shared very positive feedback about it.

Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yerevan.

How much does Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yerevan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yerevan is not rushed.

Is Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yerevan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yerevan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yerevan and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Yerevan Breakfast: Coffee, Gata & Local Guided city tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yerevan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Yerevan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Yerevan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Group Tour: Lake Sevan (Sevanavank), Dilijan (Goshavank, Haghartsin), Group Tour: Khor Virap, Garni temple, Geghard, Lavash baking, Group Tour: Garni pagan temple, Geghard monastery, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Yerevan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Yerevan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
