DON'T BOOK THIS COMPANY - 不要预订这家公 - この会社を予約しないでください. Go on the pic here and USE THESE OTHER OPTIONS INSTEAD - I am NOT reviewing the actual Ballon ride as I didn't get to experience it. I am reviewing the {DON'T go wild ballooning} customer service. The Fraser family will do everything in their power to screw you OUT of your money. If you have any issue at all with your flight GOOD LUCK - you are on your own. Really snappy bad attitude (harry and Mia Fraser) will try to SCAM you. BE CAREFUL - DON'T BOOK.

Go Wild Ballooning has been operating safely and professionally for over 36 years. As with all hot air balloon operators, our flights are entirely dependent on weather conditions. We understand how frustrating a cancellation can be, but safety will always come before convenience — and this is made very clear when booking. In your case, your voucher was valid for 12 months and was purchased through a third-party provider. After your two weather-related cancellations, it was your responsibility to rebook and complete your flight within the validity period. You did not reschedule and subsequently you allowed your voucher to expire. Our records show that we offered several options — including a ‘standby flight’ — to help you complete your ballooning experience. Unfortunately, all offers were ultimately declined. While we sympathise with the logistical challenges of travel and scheduling, these are clearly outlined considerations when booking any weather-dependent activity. We’re disappointed by the tone and content of your review, particularly as we did attempt to assist multiple times. Additionally, claims made against members of our team, specifically Harry & Mia Fraser, are unfounded, as there was no communication between you and these individuals. Gift Certificate buyers beware

If you are thinking of purchasing a gift certificate for a friend/friends as a surprise beware..... Make sure the recipient (and especially companion if purchasing for two) want to actually go ballooning, otherwise it will cost an additional $145 to "change ownership" if one of them can't (not sure if this is in total or per person, was too angry to confirm). I was given a certificate for a flight and breakfast for two as a birthday surprise. My husband was listed as the second party on the certificate, but is terrified of heights and also had open heart surgery not long after I received the gift. I was prepared to use the certificate in order not to waste the significant amount spent by my friends and my sister- in -law agreed to come with me in my husband's place. I was advised by a not very helpful and very unempathetic individual, that "according to consumer law rules", "not ours", the portion "owned " by my husband had to be relinquished in writing and the transfer of ownership to my sister -in- law would cost $145.00. On principal I am no longer going, and so the company gain payment for services unrendered. I'm sure I'm not the first person in this situation and am sorry my friends wasted their money. Hopefully this will help someone planning a surprise in the future to read the fine print and ensure the recipients are happy to go ballooning before they waste their money. This company is there to make money not provide a service and definitely not with a smile. Oh ,and don't call to try and resolve your issue before 9.30am, as they will tell you they only open at 9.30, despite their website and gift certificate stating 9-3. Also don't expect a phone call if there is an issue with making an online booking with your certificate , just a cold email saying your booking was unsuccessful.

I don’t know why it took me so long to experience this!

Excellent experience. A very well run ground operation and expert balloon pilot. You share the air space with other balloons that makes the views even more special. You can’t go wrong signing up for this trip.
