- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- All children must be able to sit in a seat by themselves and must be accompanied by an adult
- Dune buggies have manual transmissions and operate with a 4-speed stick shift. It is imperative that the driver is proficient at driving a stick shift manual transmission.
- For those that are used to right side drive vehicles, please note that these are left side drive vehicles and that the stick shift is on the right side of the driver.
- All drivers must present a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old to drive
- Drivers must wear closed toe shoes
- Maximum group size is 12 people
- Maximum weight per buggy is 800 pounds Our Buggy’s have bucket seats and can not be moved. Our half day tour is a full 4 hour excursion and the Full day 8h. If you have wide hips it might be uncomfortable. The original sand rail dune buggy's are a v shape in the front (it tapers in) thus being a standard transmission there is not much room to shift if the guests legs are too wide.
- No alcohol is permitted prior or during the tour
- Approximate driving distance is 55 miles (90 km)
- The route of the tour can be altered by the guide due to certain circumstances
- Please bring with you a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen. Each buggy has a small compartment which can fit a backpack
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

Fun and dirty experience!
Good experience to see the countryside and meet some very nice people locals. Macao beach was beautiful. My jeep shut off for no reason but was on its way after a short break. The other jeep riding with us almost had an accident due to brakes not working efficiently. The guide test drove it and told them it would be ok but we will go slower..

Authentic Dun Buggies, tons of fun!
Outstanding! Charlie was terrific, he did an excellent job explaining the cars and taking us out. You must know how to DRIVE A MANUAL transmission BEFORE your go. As long as you can, you'll have a great time!

A great authentic buggy ride
This is an authentic buggy ride. Old school buggies with some fun off road adventures. You get to see the Dominican country side and some beautiful scenery. Now, you will get dirty, muddy and wet but that is part of the fun. Lots of fun.

Unforgettable Manual Buggy Adventure with Charlie & Marianne!
Xtreme Buggy gave us an incredible adventure from start to finish! Charlie and Marianne were absolutely amazing- friendly, professional, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The buggies were manual, which made the ride even more exciting and hands-on, and they were well-maintained and ran perfectly. The trails offered the perfect mix of adrenaline and beautiful scenery. We got a great balance of thrill and fun, and the whole experience was well-organized and worth every minute. Highly recommend Xtreme Buggy to anyone looking for a heart-pumping outdoor adventure!

Fun trip
Could get muddy, fun 1/2 day trip, wish we had gotten the full day. Cars are easy to drive and guide was exceptional.
