Your day begins with a convenient hotel/train pick up and scenic drive to the Wuzhen water town, which boasts charmingly architectures, crisscross rivers and canal, cherished history, and elegant scenery. You will hop in our comfort of an air-conditioned private vehicle. Expected to enjoy a local culture and life experience trip in this southern ancient town today. Wuzhen is one of the top six ancient towns in the southern region of the Yangtze River, Wuzhen Water Town boasts more than six thousand years of history and has always been a fertile land with abundant rice, fish and silk. It preserves the ancient appearance well and oozes charm of the water town itself. Upon arrival, you will have chance to visit the ancient architecture of water village, it known as "East of Venice". Walk along the old lane and riverside, cross the bridge to feel the local lifestyle. There are several museums for you to explore if you are interested, such as Hundreds Beds Museum, Spirit Workshop, Wedding Museum, Woodcarving Museum, etc. After lunch, watch Wuzhen local Shadow Play Show or some other local folk performances. Please feel free to let your guide know if you want to take photos by your own for a while Your tour ends with drop-off at your Hangzhou downtown hotel or Hangzhou train station.

Better way to experience this unique water town!
Just like my HZ West Lake experience, the provided the guided personal experience which avoided the larger tour groups (present everywhere at this location, too). Allowed expropriation and experiencing on a much more pleasurable pace.

Wonderful tour and an enchanting town
As a solo traveller it was really nice to have a day being guided around (with someone e who can translate too!) and directed to the best places. My tour guide June was really friendly and confident in her knowledge of the town. I was able to see parts of a theatre performance, puppet light show, bamboo climbing ritual, and go into museums (all of which I would not have known to see otherwise). The boat ride was a really special experience too. Moreover, as a vegetarian I was well catered for with excellent food. I had a great time!

Great experience
It was a lovely trip, our guide, Xiaozhou was very detailed and informative. Lovely place not to be missed out. The journey there was great, 谢师傅drove with caution and so smoothly that we fell asleep the moment the journey started.
