Woolton Liverpool Musical Walking Tour

We spent a very enjoyable few days in Liverpool visiting many of the attractions connected with The Beatles. The Woolton Walking Tour was the highlight of our trip. This walking tour is a treat for anyone interested in the back story of the early days of The Beatles, particularly of John and Paul’s teenage years.. Our guide, Tracey, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we got a very good sense of what Woolton and the surrounding area was like in the late 1950’s, lots of anecdotes and stories that we had never heard before. We couldn’t recommend it more highly, outstanding!

Response from the operator: Thank you for this lovely review Tracey is a fantastic guide. This is a new tour that we have just launched and we appreciate your feedback back. It is a lovely village and still has a village life and we are very proud that the village is also the place where it all began for one of the greatest groups of all time who change what was a black and white world recovering after World War Two into technicolour. Best wishes LFWT-PurpleTours

Fab Woolton Beatles Tour, Where It All Began!

I had a fantastic time on the very first Woolton Beatles Tour, visiting the places that shaped the band’s early story. From St Peter’s Church, where John and Paul first met, to Strawberry Field, Mendips and more, it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the Beatles, which really brought everything to life. We were even treated to a few tunes on the ukulele, which really brightened an otherwise grey January morning. I would highly recommend this tour to any Beatles fan who wants to stand in the very places where it all began.

Response from the operator: Thank you for this lovely review. So pleased you enjoyed the tour. Woolton is indeed where it all began for the Beatles and the story is fascinating but so is the history of this lovely village. Best wishes LFWT-PurpleTours

Fantastic tour of Woolton, where it all began!

Was lucky to attend the very first tour of Woolton village, where Paul met John for the first time. As well as the history of Woolton which is older than Liverpool, also visited St Peter’s church hall, Strawberry fields. Guides were brilliant, friendly , faun and passionate Beatles fans. We were also treated to some songs from the Beatles history played on Ukelele! Highly recommended for any Beatles fan who wants to see where it all began.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to review this tour so pleased you enjoyed it. Best wishes LFWT-PurpleTours

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
