If disappointment is for you, pick this!

If you want disappointment, this is your tour! My husband and I are on our way honeymoon and wanted to do a wine tasting. My friend loved this tour, so we also booked it. There was no communication of a pickup time other than what was listed. We waited past that time, then I called the tour company. They said they were taking care of it. We then waited 20 minutes past our time and messaged them. They asked my name and booking number then immediately refunded me. I’m glad they refunded me the large amount of money that I used to book this tour, but we wanted to go on the tour. There was no explanation of why they never picked us up. I am extremely disappointed by this as we were both looking forward to the vineyard tour and wine tasting. 1/10 for giving me my money back.

Response from the operator: We are truly sorry for your disappointing experience, especially during your honeymoon. Unfortunately, your reservation was not transmitted to our booking system through the Viator API, so our team did not receive it and the pickup was never scheduled. Once we identified the issue, we immediately issued a full refund. We understand that this does not make up for the experience you missed, and we sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and the frustration caused.

Cantine Santa Benedetta

Wonderful experience both by our tour guide Stefano and the Winery. History of the region was excellent to learn. Both for wine and olive oil. The winery we visited was Cantine Santa Benedetta. Family owned.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful experience on the Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome. Stefano will be thrilled to know you enjoyed his guidance and the insights he shared about the history of the region, wine, and olive oil traditions. We’re also very happy that you appreciated the visit. As a family-owned winery, they truly represent the authentic spirit of Frascati, and it’s always a pleasure to share their story and products with our guests. Thank you again for choosing us—we hope to welcome you back to Italy for another unforgettable experience!

Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome cost?

+

Prices start at $128 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 74 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome?

+

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wine Tasting in Frascati from Rome start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

+

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

+

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
