    Wine tasting

The Portolano Winery, located in the picturesque Campi Flegrei, offers a tasting experience that combines wine tradition and family passion. The visit begins with a tour of the vineyards, where Vittoria and Mara explain the cultivation techniques and history of the company. Next, you enter the cellar to understand the winemaking processes. The tasting takes place in a farmhouse surrounded by greenery, creating a charming and relaxing atmosphere.

Day with friends in the vineyard

Beautiful experience walking through the rows of vineyards, excellent wines and precise pairing with local products. We had fun I would highly recommend it to other people

    morning in the vineyard

Family-run company, we were welcomed directly by the owners who illustrated, during a pleasant walk in the vineyard, the characteristics of the volcanic soil and the different types of grapes grown. After the vineyard we visited the winery where Mara and Vittoria explained with passion and competence the processes and steps necessary to transform the grapes into wine. From the cellar the visit continued in the nearby farmhouse where the glasses were set up for tasting, the location is enchanting, immersed directly in the vineyard, an oasis of tranquility. Each wine, combined with a specific local product, has been explained in detail especially regarding the link with the territory. Between tastings we had time to enjoy the place without haste and to converse with each other. An experience that I Recommendation to live a few relaxing hours directly in the vineyard and taste and buy excellent wines typical of the Campi Flegrei area. Very convenient also the taxi from Pazza Garibaldi if you come from Naples or the Pozzuoli metro.

    Fantastic tasting!

Vittoria our Guide and sommelier is very prepared. We used their taxi service to reach the winery from Naples (really efficient), arrived in the cellar the property welcomed us in an informal and familiar way. Cantina Portolano is a small family business and you can see from the passion they put into their tour. We visited the vineyards and always led by Vittoria we had the first taste of their sparkling wine (really interesting). We visited and cellar and then sat in the garden to have lunch with excellent local products paired with their wines. An experience to do if you are in Naples for a few days, the volcanic wines are exceptional. Recommended!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Wine Tasting in Campi Flegrei from Naples cost?

    +

How long does Wine Tasting in Campi Flegrei from Naples take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Wine Tasting in Campi Flegrei from Naples worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Wine Tasting in Campi Flegrei from Naples?

    +

Is Wine Tasting in Campi Flegrei from Naples suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Wine Tasting in Campi Flegrei from Naples?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Wine Tasting in Campi Flegrei from Naples start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
