Do Not Recommend Smoky Tours
We were not able to do this tour because Smoky Tours cancelled at the last minute. We booked the tour about a month ahead of time for a Monday. The night before we received a conformation email that listed two different locations for pickup. I tried reaching out to them by email and phone to find out which location was correct and never received a response. I contacted Get Your Guide where I purchased the tour and they tried contacting them but could not get a response. I made a guess and went to Junction 35 because that was one of the locations listed. We went into Junction 35 and talked to the manager to see if they knew if this was the correct location and she told us Smoky Tours never does a tour on Monday. While we were talking to the manager, I received an email from Smoky Tours saying the tour was cancelled because Junction 35 was closed because of an inspection. I showed the manager of Junction 35 the email and she said that was not true. Also, found out the tour is no longer a bus tour, it is just a walking tour at Tanger Outlets.

After Christmas Fun
We had a super great time. Lots of fun and entertainment. Our host did a great job explaining everything to us. Traffic was super hectic and we were a little late, but she was gracious and waited on us.
Response from the operator: Hi Susan, thanks for the glowing review! It’s guests like you who make this work feel like magic. I definitely have the best job! Whenever you're ready, we're here for your next Smoky Tours adventure!

Not worth Cost unless Shuttle is fixed!!
Shuttle van was still broken down after a month. Tour was not worth the cost. We could of easily done it on our own for alot less. We never left Tanger Outlet area. Junction 35 Distrillery was great, bartender Lisa was excellent. Went next door same place for lunch the food was good. The next two places we walked across parking lot to Smith Creek and Tennessee Cider. Both place offer free tasting. I feel Jen should of offered the tour at a discount for not transporting us to different places. Or pay the gratitude to the bartenders that they asked us to pay. NOT worth the cost if not being shuttled to different places.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations. During your visit, our bus was temporarily unavailable due to an unexpected issue. When that happens, we proactively offer an altered VIP-style itinerary that is clearly communicated in advance and designed to add value, not reduce it. This experience includes exclusive hosted tastings, guided coordination, structured timing, and insider access that guests cannot replicate on their own—even when venues are within walking distance. While some locations may offer complimentary tastings to the general public, our tours provide extended tastings that are above and beyond the typical "walk in" tastings at Stop 1 & 2. We may very well discontinue Stop 3 as there has been consistent negative feedback with our experiences there. Our hosted experiences, exclusive perks/discounts, group coordination, and local expertise is really what guests are paying for—not simply transportation. Transportation is one component of the experience, but not the sole value. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed Junction 35 and that Lisa provided a fun time. That tasting is also completely unique to Smoky Tours and ONLY available with our tour. As noted during the tour, gratuities are always optional and go directly to the bartenders who provide personalized service throughout the experience. That said, we appreciate your perspective and are always evaluating how we can better set expectations and improve communication. Feedback like yours helps us continue to refine and elevate our tours. We wish you the best in your travels and appreciate you giving Smoky Tours a try. — Jenn

Kinda disappointed
We booked this experience based on the description. Unfortunately, the bus was not operating so a walking tour in Tanger outlets was offered. The tour started out at Junction 35 and the bartender Lisa was fabulous; lunch was good. The next two experiences were not at all like the first one at Junction 35 - disorganized and rushed. The third stop was awful - bartender was downright rude. I wouldn’t do this again. And while we were offered a refund, the VIP alternate tour was way over exaggerated. We did have fun and some laughs but spent way too much for the two last stops to be average to poor.

AVOID this so called TOUR!
WARNING, CAUTION!!! PLEASE AVOID TAKING THE "Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me ," so called tour. DO NOT spend/waste your time and money on this activity. My husband and I spent $152.00 for this "experience." It consisted of walking to three stores in "Tanger Outlet," Sevierville, TN for tastings. We started at "Junction 35" where we had tastings and lunch (pulled pork sandwich, fries, cole slaw, drink was extra charge). Then we walked to "The Mountain Mile" and finally to "Smith Creek." These tastings took place in stores that advertise "FREE" tastings. This was a BIG ripoff and I highly recommend it be SKIPPED!

Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sevierville.
How much does Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour cost?
+
Prices start at $68 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sevierville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sevierville is not rushed.
Is Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 384 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Sevierville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour?
+
Around 134 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sevierville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sevierville and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wine Me, Shine Me, Dine Me - Must do tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sevierville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sevierville?
+
Sevierville, TN packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Sevierville by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Sevierville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 7-Line Zipline Experience in Sevierville, Small-Group 7-Line Zipline Activity at Sevierville Nature Park, Famous Moonshine & Wine Tour From Pigeon Forge. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sevierville?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Sevierville, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sevierville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
