Highly recommended
Such a great experience. I highly recommend wearing water shoes. Our guide was incredible and made sure to point out all the amazing wildlife along the way. Ending the tour with a cocoa tasting and a snack was the perfect touch!

A Special Tour for Animal Lovers!
My girlfriend and I did the Safari Float with Canoa Aventura on Thursday, and we absolutely loved it! It was my girlfriend’s first safari float, while I’ve done this tour several times before, and I can honestly say that every experience has been great, thanks to the different guides. This time, our guide was Kevin, who did an amazing job explaining all kinds of interesting things about the wildlife and the surrounding area. Despite the hot weather making it a little more challenging to spot animals, he did his best to find as many as possible. We were lucky enough to see several bird species, including the Ninga, Squirrel Cuckoo, and Roadside Hawk, as well as monkeys, caimans, crocodiles, bats, and lots of iguanas! The boat ride lasted almost two hours, although the duration can vary depending on how many animals you encounter along the way. At the end of the tour, we enjoyed a small breakfast and learned a little more about coffee and chocolate, which was a lovely way to finish the experience. A big thank you to Kevin for such a wonderful tour! We highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves animals, nature, and discovering Costa Rica’s incredible wildlife

Relaxing
The guide was well-informed and we saw lots of animals; rowing was also kept to a minimum since the rafts had their own motors

Drift past the wildlife of Arenal
This was one of my favourite experiences in Costa Rica. We did a couple of different tours with Canoa Aventura and they were all great. Our family of four had a single boat with a guide, and we saw a lot of wildlife. I think we got lucky with the guide, but we saw howler monkeys, a coati, a snake, lizards, a sloth, crocodiles and iguane as well as a wide variety of different wildlife. At the end we had a nice lunch, including a toast with local moonshine and a quick chocolate intro - plus a taster. I'd recommned this to anyone who wants to drift along the river and see some wildlife. It was pretty sedate, we did a bit of paddling occasionally but I was still able to take lots of photos as we went.

SO Interesting!
We had a fantastic time on the Canoa Safari Float River Tour! Transportation to and from our hotel was comfortable, safe, and right on time. Our guide, JJ, could not have been more enthusiastic or passionate about his job and the incredible wildlife around us. His knowledge made the tour so engaging, and we learned so much while spotting animals along the river. It was a relaxing, fun, and educational day. We highly recommend this tour!
