LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
This was nothing short of a blast. It was just my wife and I on this tour. Carol, our guide made it so much fun, and we learned so much about the history of the area. These are so easy to drive, and you fly around town, on your choice of Rydables. You will get some stares from others, but I think it is envy...lol. I highly suggest this to anyone who wants to learn about the history and see the sights of Charlotte and have a ton of fun along the way.

What a truly amazing...
What a truly amazing experience. You can pretty much guess from the pictures on the website how fun this experience will be, but I was pleasantly surprised on how rich and interesting Charlotte’s history is. My adult son was passing through Charlotte so I was looking for a low key activity that wouldn’t eat up a ton of time: the Wild Things Rydables Tour was perfect! I moved to Charlotte about 5 1/2 years ago and did a ton of research on Charlotte and its history prior to moving here so thought I was pretty knowledgeable. John, our tour guide did such an amazing job of detailing the history while keeping it entertaining and interesting. I learned so much that I didn’t know about the wards and uptown and can’t wait to share my newfound knowledge. The Rydables themselves are cute, easy to operate and so much fun to ride. They are comfortable and sturdy; just be ready for lots of positive attention they bring lots of smiles and comments. My other son will be here next month and I have at least two more sets of guests coming to visit me in Charlotte before the end of the year and I will be booking tours for all three visits. Thank you again John and I hope to see you again next month! I highly recommend this tour

Do this. Seriously do this now!!!
Obviously fun, but so informative! Able to cruise all over Charlotte in wacky ride ons, but if you’re lucky to get John as your tour guide you will not only see so much, but learn such interesting facts about Charlotte! I would recommend to anyone and if you want a tour of such a beautiful city, this is the way to go!

Fun Unique Tour You Can’t Pass Up
Absolutely loved this tour. Though I am a local I took my Texas parents on this tour and they had so much fun. John (I am horrible with names, sorry if I got that wrong) was super informative and we LOVED hearing everything he brought to our attention. I will definitely be bringing more guests as they come to visit us.

Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Charlotte.
How much does Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Charlotte usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Charlotte is not rushed.
Is Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 91 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Charlotte, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte?
+
Around 32 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Charlotte can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Charlotte and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wild Things Rydables Tour of Charlotte start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Charlotte within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Charlotte?
+
Charlotte offers NASCAR Hall of Fame and speedway experiences, uptown food and brewery tours, whitewater rafting at the US National Whitewater Center and Blue Ridge day trips. On Outty we rank every Charlotte experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Charlotte's Ultimate Southern Charm Historical City Cart Tour, Charlotte's Original Historical City Tour on Eco- Friendly Cart, 90 Minute Historic Uptown Neighborhood Segway Tour of Charlotte. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Charlotte?
+
April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Charlotte?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
