Fun day had by all
Myself and 3 teenagers did this tour a few days ago to celebrate my son’s 15th birthday. All of us loved every minute! Our tour guide Alisha—was fun, professional and very knowledgeable. She really “read” my kids and understood what would interest them. The “town” was cool to explore and take fun photos. The ATV portion felt safe and the views were fabulous. The gold mine was very cool and so interesting!!! Fun day had by all!! Thank you Alisha and Awesome Adventures!
Response from the operator: Thank you for celebrating such a special birthday with us. We’re thrilled to hear your whole group had an amazing time exploring the desert, riding ATVs, and checking out the old mining town. Alisha will be so happy to hear she connected so well with your family and helped make the day extra memorable. It sounds like the perfect mix of adventure, fun, and unforgettable views.

Above and beyond
From start to finish our adventure was fun and entertaining. Our guide Alisha was super knowledgeable of all aspects of the tour and life in general. Even though our hotel wasn't on the pick up list she went out of her way to pick us up and drop us off where we needed to be which she didn't have to do. We we're very appreciative of her hospitality and would do it again in a heartbeat. Above and Beyond service. Jim and Tamara
Response from the operator: Thank you, Jim and Tamara, for the wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear your Old West ATV or RZR Adventure was fun from start to finish. Alisha will be so pleased to know her knowledge and hospitality made such an impact. We’re glad we could accommodate your pickup and truly appreciate your kind words. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.

Fantastic Adventure
Fantastic trip! Jensen, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. This tour allows significant time driving ATVs through the desert with a few stops to learn about the area. The lunch was fantastic and there are several games to play, including axe throwing, during the break. The gold mine was really cool to see and we learned a lot about mining. Definitely family friendly. This entire experience was great and we have recommended it to everyone we have spoken to about our recent Vegas trip
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Dustin! We're thrilled to hear your adventure was fantastic from start to finish! Jensen is truly a gem—his knowledge and friendly approach make every tour unforgettable. 🏜️ We're so glad you enjoyed the ATV ride, the stops along the way, the lunch, and all the extra fun like axe throwing! It means a lot that you’re recommending the experience to others. We’d love to welcome you back anytime for another Awesome Adventure!

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Las Vegas.
How much does Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $334 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Las Vegas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Las Vegas is not rushed.
Is Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 804 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Las Vegas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch?
+
Around 281 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Las Vegas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Las Vegas and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Wild Old West ATV Tour + 1861 Ghost Town & Goldmine Tour + Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Las Vegas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Las Vegas?
+
Las Vegas sells two trips at once: the Strip after dark, and the red-rock desert that starts twenty minutes past the last casino. Helicopter runs to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam half-days and Red Rock Canyon drives all leave early, while show tickets, speakeasy crawls and high-roller dining fill the evening. Outty Ranking weighs operator reliability heavily here, because the gap between a well-run desert tour and a coach-and-queue version is enormous. On Outty we rank every Las Vegas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group: Valley of Fire Half Day Tour from Las Vegas, Small Group Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, 7 Magic Mountains VIP Tour, Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam Stop, Breakfast, Lunch & Skywalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Las Vegas?
+
October to April. Summer highs above 105F make midday outdoor tours punishing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Las Vegas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
