I would not pay for this tour.
There was no guided tour of Krakow. This is a trip to the salt mines which can be coordinated with a salt mine tour at the location as even the tour guide which picks you up does nothing than take roll call. Furthermore, there is zero customer service support for the day of pickup to confirm you are standing at the right location. Secondly, they ask to confirm you received the train tickets mid day the day prior. There seems to be an issue on their end with attaching tickets. The salt mine tour guide does a five minute bathroom break 2.5 hours into your tour. Additionally, there are five minutes twice to either use the bathroom or buy a souvenir. Our tour guide did not include time to eat at the mine.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points for future travelers. There was no guided tour of Krakow because it is not included in the tour you booked. The tour description clearly states what is included, and after the visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, guests have free time in Krakow for independent sightseeing. We kindly encourage all customers to read the tour description carefully before making a reservation. Regarding the train tickets, we did send them before the tour. We have not experienced any issues with sending tickets from our side. If there were any delivery problems, they may have been related to the Viator messaging system, which is outside of our control. The guided tour inside the Wieliczka Salt Mine is operated by the museum and follows a strict schedule. Breaks, the pace of the tour, and the amount of free time are determined by the museum guides to ensure the smooth operation of one of Poland's most visited attractions. Unfortunately, we are not able to influence the duration of breaks or the tour schedule. We always strive to provide the service exactly as described in the booking confirmation and appreciate all feedback that helps future travelers make informed decisions.
