Chlodna Street
In 1941 Ghetto was divided into two parts by Chłodna street, used for East-West transfer traffic. The wooden bridge was built near the intersection of Chłodna and Żelazna streets to link two parts. It reached the third floor of the buildings, which allowed the “Aryan” trams, German military transports and cars to pass beneath it, as we can see in many photographs.

Appreciate Warsaw and its rise from the ashes
Conrad was amazing guide. we are grateful for his expertise and passion for the subject matter. he articulated a wide breath of factual historical timelines and easy to digest conversations. The real boost was the context surrounding otherwise published information that he shared. We came to appreciate the Polish struggle and perseverance and its impact at a personal level that comes with interpreting historical events. He was considerate of our party request and adjusted accordingly. highly recommend this tour for anyone wishing to experience World War II from the Polish vantage point. The mini bus ride only accentuated the experience. Five stars for Conrad.
