Studio tickets were not available despite prior confirmation!
Buyer beware! We purchased the Warner Bros studio tour and hop on hop off bus combo ticket and were told three days before our paid and confirmed tour that they did not have Warner Bros Studio Tour tickets available for our date. By the time we were notified, all WB tickets for the days we were in town were sold out. We never would have booked this tour if we had known!

Horrible!!!! Don’t do it!
HORRIBLE ! TO DAY THE LEAST No AC, they do not engage with you. They give you headphones to listen to someone tell you about the tour. Most of the outlets for the headphone don’t work. The seats are extremely dirty as if they don’t clean them at all. The drivers are rude, have horrible customer service considering they are dealing with the public. I have been on many LA tours and this has been the worst one. They need to reevaluate their business approach or just shut down. It was my guy first time in LA and this tour kinda ruined the trip. We toured from 1:30pm-6:00 pm in heat and silence! We tried to make the best of it amongst each other but it definitely took a toll on us.

Don’t do this combo tour!
This was sold as a combo but it wasn’t clear that the bus did Not go to WB studios and we had to have our own transportation! That took so long that we really didn’t have time for the bus. And when we went to the closest stop after the WB tours, the bus never showed so we gave up and took an Uber back to the hotel. Very disappointed!

If you hop on DO NOT hop off or you'll be stranded; terrible customer service
This tour might be okay if you hop on and don't hop off, but don't use it as a place to keep stopping and getting back on. We bought a 2-day pass. The bus was 15 minutes late at the first stop (we thought we'd missed it... they sent a code with our email confirmation to log into the app but the code didn't actually work so that was unhelpful) and then drove really quickly as if trying to get back on schedule, so we were past certain sights when the recording was telling us about them. We got off downtown, saw a few things for about 45 minutes, and went back to where the bus had dropped us off. We were there at 1 for a 1:10 bus. We waited until 1:30 and it never came. My husband called the company and the woman he spoke to apologized and immediately said she'd give us our money back. We thought that was pretty responsible and were pleasantly surprised by the customer service. She cancelled our ticket and said the refund would show up on our bill soon as soon as management approved it. Two days later we get an email from the company saying they reviewed our complaint and the bus HAD been there at 1:10 (we were standing right there! There was no bus) and they weren't giving us our money back. My husband called them and explained they cancelled our ticket on the spot so how could they charge us for something we weren't able to use? And said if they weren't going to refund us they should have said something at the time. The woman (same one who had spoken to him earlier) said she had never cancelled our ticket (she had... he had to put her on speaker to read out the code from his email for her to cancel the ticket so I heard her confirm it, and tell us the ticket would no longer work) and she said he was out of line, and refused to even listen to him. It cost us $220 for a fast 15-minute bus ride and an hour of inconvenience to us; not to mention we were stranded downtown after they cancelled the ticket and had to take a $30 Uber ride back to our hotel (where the Uber driver told us he'd heard a LOT of complaints about this company). Avoid this tour at all costs—apparently there are much better hop-on, hop-off tours in town.

Warner Bros
This is NOT a big bus tour. You need to get to the office to redeem voucher before using the buses. Pointless for us as we were the other side of L.A. The office did give us the use of buses next day. The Warner tour was well worth a visit , though you really need a car to get there !!

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Angeles.
How much does Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Angeles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Angeles is not rushed.
Is Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Warner Bros. Studio Tour & 24-Hr Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Package start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Angeles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?
+
Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Los Angeles Original 90-Minute Walking Tour to The Hollywood Sign. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?
+
March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Los Angeles?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
