Tour guide Nicole spoke too fast and gave no ancient history of Venice. Tour was in English and Spanish. Make sure you have 2 euro cash for quick boat ride to cross canal. I would not recommend this tour as guide had no enthusiasm or helpful insights of Venice.
Response from the operator: Dear customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. Our tours are designed to provide a general overview of Venice, with the guide delivering the commentary in both English and Spanish. We’re sorry you did not find the commentary as engaging or informative as you had hoped. Your feedback is valuable and will be shared with our team as we continuously work to improve the experience we offer. We hope you will give us another opportunity to offer you a more enjoyable experience in Venice. Kind regards, Consorzio Vidali Group

Nice walk through Venice.
I definitely recommend it if you like short walks, even with my 5-year-old child. Good, informative tour. Thank you.
Response from the operator: Dear customer, thank you very much for your kind review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that it was suitable for you and your child. We are happy that you found it informative and enjoyable. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you again in the future! Best regards, CVG

Not a moderate excursion.
When we met our tour guide, she explained to us that we would be crossing seven bridges, going up and downstairs, and that this would be a very difficult tour for the two men in the group that were using walkers. Unfortunately, the tour was cancelled and she suggested that we contact you and request a refund for the tour that we were not able to take. It was never mentioned in the tour description that this is not an excursion for anyone with a little bit of a mobility problem. Again, I mentioned on the recommendation of your tour guide that it will not be a possible tour for us to take.
Response from the operator: Dear customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our guide’s priority is always the safety and comfort of all participants, which is why she carefully explained the route and its physical requirements before the tour began. Venice is a unique city with numerous bridges and steps, and these characteristics are part of many walking itineraries. Had you contacted us directly, we would have been happy to suggest alternative experiences better suited to your needs, including boat tours and other options requiring less walking. We appreciate your comments and are glad the guide was able to provide clear information to help you make the best decision for your circumstances. Best regards, CVG

Don’t book…DON’T WASTE YOUR $! Awful customer service. Will take your $ an hour prior…but will NOT wait 7 mins for you.
Booked tour 1 hr prior, got on the wrong water bus and so I immediately messaged the tour operator 20 mins before tour and told them we would be 10 mins late. We arrived 7 mins late…tour guide refused to wait nor answer phone. Finally called the tour agency and asked where the tour was so we could catch up and they refused. Tour Agency told me to call Viator for refund…when I called Viator to request a refund, was told the Tour Agency refused my refund. Thank you for ruining our last day in Venice and Italy and leaving us with this crappy memory of greed and no grace for 1 adult and 3 teens. Booked at 1600 Sent message at 1655 Tour started at 1715 Arrived at 1722
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially on your last day in Venice. We would like to clarify that our walking tours follow a precise schedule and must maintain a set pace, particularly when other participants are present. On the day of your booking, the tour included several other guests who had arrived on time, and therefore it was not possible to delay the start without impacting the entire group experience. Additionally, once the guide begins the tour and is engaged in explaining to the group, it is not feasible for them to monitor phone communications, as their full attention must be dedicated to delivering the service. As a gesture of goodwill and understanding, we offered you the possibility to reschedule the tour for another date or to join any of our other tours; however, this option was declined. We always strive to accommodate our guests within the limits of our operational responsibilities, and we regret that, in this case, we were unable to meet your expectations. Kind regards, Consorzio Vidali Group

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 86 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise?
+
Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Walking Tour of Venice with Mini Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
