Disappointing
We were informed upon booking about the meeting place for this walking tour. On the day of the tour, the meeting placed could not be accessed due to a private event. We did not receive any information about this last minute change whether by a call, text or email. Our time and energy were completely wasted. We only heard from the operator by email long after the tour that did not happen for us. Operator promised a refund and we have not seen that happen yet. We are extremely disappointed.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, I am very sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. The updated meeting point was sent shortly before the tour by email and automatically via WhatsApp. The email may have been delivered to your spam folder, and the WhatsApp notification could not reach you because WhatsApp was not available for your phone number. When you did not arrive at 10:00 a.m., I called you directly at 10:06 a.m., but unfortunately, no one answered. I still have the call record confirming this. The refund request was submitted to Viator on the same day as the tour, and I also have proof of this request. Please check your account, as the refund should already have been processed. If you find that you have not yet received the refund, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone at +33 6 99 90 73 96 or by email at nb.tourguide@gmail.com. Kind regards, Nejib

The tour was ok. It started out about 8-10 minutes late and given how hot it was, I would have hoped we would have started on time. The information was good but the tour went 45 minutes past the end time so we were late getting to our next activity. The tour could have been more efficient especially since it was so hot outside and the breaks were in the sun. Also, we took a break after 10-15 minutes of the tour starting. We should have taken the break later. We would have left earlier to make our next activity but the ending spot was at the main place we wanted to see and where the tour was to end. Overall tour could have been more efficient so we could have ended on time.

Is Walking tour of Nice, the old town & the Coline du Château worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 236 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Walking tour of Nice, the old town & the Coline du Château?

What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
