Not for the weak of knees
A winding ribbon of stone and sunlight, the Lemon Trail feels less like a hike and more like a whispered conversation with the cliffs themselves. What stays with you first is the humor of it all—the way the path seems to tease you, offering a gentle stretch before suddenly pitching upward in a burst of uneven steps that test your balance, your patience, and occasionally your dignity. Each stair feels carved by a mason with a mischievous streak. Some are shallow, some knee‑high, some tilted just enough to make you question your life choices. Your calf muscles lengthen like taffy as you climb, and the trail narrows until you’re pressed between ancient stone walls—close enough to feel their cool breath, close enough to imagine the stories they’ve absorbed over centuries. There’s a rhythm to it: step, stretch, laugh at yourself, breathe, climb again. And then, just when the walls feel too tight and the ascent too steep, the path opens like a sigh. A small terrace appears—humble, sun‑washed, fragrant with the sweetness of lemons hanging like lanterns above your head. It’s a reward not just for the body but for the spirit. Here, the world slows. Here, a simple lemonade tastes like a blessing. The trail is a paradox: demanding yet generous, exhausting yet restorative. It asks much of your knees, your calves, your breath—but gives back in golden light, citrus perfume, and the quiet triumph of reaching a place you had to earn.

Walking the Path of Lemons with Rossella—Pure Amalfi Magic!”
Our walk from Minori to Maiori along the Path of Lemons was nothing short of extraordinary—an experience that will stay with us forever. Every moment felt magical, from the sweeping coastal views to the fragrant lemon groves that lined the path, creating a setting that was both breathtaking and uniquely Italian. The fresh lemon sorbet we enjoyed along the way was the perfect touch, adding an authentic and delightful flavor to an already incredible journey. What truly elevated this experience was our exceptional guide, Rossella. She was not only deeply knowledgeable, but also remarkably patient, warm, and attentive. Her passion for the region shone through in every detail she shared, enriching the entire walk. When unexpected rain disrupted our plans, she graciously worked around our schedule to reschedule, going above and beyond to ensure we didn’t miss this special experience. This tour was seamless, memorable, and absolutely stunning from start to finish. We are so grateful to Rossella for her kindness and expertise, and we wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area—you will not be disappointed.

Behind the Amalfi Coast glamour
an arduous exploration of vertical living with spectacular views. Challenging walking, and worth it if you are capable.

Gorgeous views and steep walk
We loved the walk between the old towns. The little cafes and lemon vines on the way were delightful. Do this early in the morning or late in the afternoon in summer as it was quite warm. Recommended.

Would hardly call this a "Path of Lemons"
The walk was not through lemon groves - very disappointing. There was about 50 ft of a private lemon grove beside the stone walkway that you take between Maiori and Minori. Maybe you pay them for a walk through their lemon grove??? Lots of stairs as well to get to the top of the walkway and lots of stairs back down. You can enjoy the views along the way but don't expect there to be lemons. Also the lemons were green when we did it in September. We did enjoy the towns - Maiori is larger than Minori so wouldn't spend more than a couple of hours in Maiori and an hour in Minori.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amalfi.
How much does Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons cost?
+
Prices start at $62 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amalfi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amalfi is not rushed.
Is Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amalfi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amalfi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amalfi and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Walking tour from Minori to Maiori along the Path of the Lemons start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amalfi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amalfi?
+
On Outty we rank every Amalfi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hands-On Cooking Class & Farmhouse Tour on the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Coast Boat Rental: Explore, Swim, and Relax at Your Pace, Amalfi: Kayak-Snorkeling to Pandora Cave Hidden Beach & Aperitif. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amalfi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amalfi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
