Bella Napoli
Cinzia was an excellent guide, information and food stops were really good. Only two of us so turned out as a private tour.
Response from the operator: Hello, we are very pleased to read that you enjoyed our food and wine tour in Naples and that you appreciated the whole atmosphere. Hope to see you soon in other tours. Francesca and the Walking Palates' Team

Little bit of everything!
Had such a good time with Antonio! We did one in Florence as well and I love the authenticity of the cuisine and the history accompanied with the meal. So awesome!

Disappointed
The whole tour has been cancelled without explanation! Now we have to see if we can get our money back on our credit card. No alternative offered. It was quite a pricey tour and then such a Service.
Response from the operator: We're extremely sorry for your experience, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we'd like to offer our perspective. The cancellation happened a few days before the tour was scheduled. We've offered alternative dates that unfortunately did not match with your schedule. We've explained, over phone and by email, the reasons of the cancellation, that was not due to our will but to strikes and protests going on in Naples, that also meant that we were not certain if some of the restaurants where we always go would have been open or not. Of course, a full refund was provided within the best timing after the cancellation. If you happen to be in Italy again, please contact us in private, it will be our pleasure to have you as a guest on one of our food tours, in any of the ten cities were we operate. We whish you all the best, Ilaria and The Walking Palates' Team

Historical History of Naples with the food. The best were the rice balls and pasta with mussels. Also the store with the cheese and salami was a good choice. A start time of 4PM for the evening tour would be better so as not to arrive at the pastry shop at closing. A stop at a good Naples pizzeria for a slice would be a good addition. Our tour guide was very good . Was not impressed with the fried pasta.
Response from the operator: Hey, Louis. We appreciate your review. It will help us to design the best food tours in Naples. Thank you! Hope to see you soon! Yasmin and the WalkingPalates team

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Walking Food Tour of Naples with Tastings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
