Amazing scuba diving experience
Wonderful and extremely knowledgeable and experienced dive Captain Dan and Boat captain Alex! They know the spots to take you and it is a very comfortable boat to dive from with shade and sunning spots…highly recommended them!
Response from the operator: Mahalo so much for your fantastic review! 🌊🤿 We're thrilled you had such an amazing diving experience with us! Scuba Instructor Dan and Captain Alex are passionate about what they do, and they'll be delighted to hear your kind words. Their knowledge of Oʻahu's dive sites and commitment to creating a safe, enjoyable experience are what make every trip special. We're also glad you enjoyed the comfort of our boat. With plenty of shade, room to relax in the sun, and a maximum of just six guests, we work hard to provide a personalized experience that's never crowded. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing Ocean Therapy Charters. We hope to welcome you back aboard the next time you're in Hawaiʻi for more incredible dives and underwater adventures! Mahalo and safe diving!

Great experience
I booked this for my husband and son. It was my 13yo’s first time diving in the ocean. They had a great time! The staff were amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Kerry, for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your husband and son had such a great experience, and we're especially honored that your 13-year-old's very first ocean dive was with Ocean Therapy Charters. Those first ocean dives are something you never forget, and we're so glad we could help make it a fun, safe, and memorable adventure. Our crew loves introducing divers of all ages to Hawaiʻi’s incredible underwater world, and it means a lot to hear that they made such a positive impression. Mahalo for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome your whole family back aboard the next time you're visiting Oʻahu. We'd love to share even more of our amazing reefs and marine life with you!

We were rebooked on a...
We were rebooked on a different charter due to “lack of staff” but with fuel prices, it may have been that we were the only two signed up and they didn’t want to bring out the boat for just 2 (can’t blame them for that). The following is more of a review for the rebooked charter (Kevin is owner) we were put on, but we didn’t bring any water or snacks as that was described in the original Viator package and it was not provided on the rebooked charter so we went two dives without any hydration or energy refueling. We also felt the owner of the new charter a bit dismissive. We had told them that my wife usually has 12 lbs of weights but was given 8lbs for the first dive, and so they gave her handheld weights. The second dive was 14 lbs, which may have lead to her abnormally fast gas consumption (she actually ran out during the decompression stop). We’ve dove about 15-16 times now, and each time my wife has much more oxygen than I do by the end of the dive. We would not sign up with Ocean Therapy Charter just for the sake of avoiding being rebooked with the other charter again.
Response from the operator: Aloha John, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely appreciate your feedback. We apologize that we were unable to take you out ourselves that day. On rare occasions, unexpected staffing issues require us to make alternate arrangements rather than cancel a guest's dive altogether. Our intention was to ensure you were still able to enjoy your planned dives while visiting Hawaiʻi. We're sorry to hear that your experience with the substitute operator didn't meet your expectations. While we can't speak to another company's procedures, we understand how disappointing it must have been to find that amenities you expected, such as water and snacks, weren't available and that aspects of the dive setup didn't feel right for your wife. At Ocean Therapy Charters, we pride ourselves on providing a personalized experience aboard our six-passenger boat, with attentive service, properly fitted equipment, refreshments, and the time to ensure every diver is comfortable before entering the water. Guest safety and enjoyment are always our highest priorities. We truly appreciate your understanding regarding the circumstances and hope you'll consider giving us the opportunity to take you diving personally on your next visit to Oʻahu. We'd love the chance to provide the Ocean Therapy experience we're known for. Mahalo again for your honest feedback, and we wish you both many more safe and memorable dives.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver cost?
+
Prices start at $265 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Waikiki Two Tank Guided Scuba Diving Adventure: Certified Diver start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
