Family Friendly Friday Night Fireworks
We booked this excursion for the kids in our group. The scenery was beautiful and I believe that it was a great idea to watch the fireworks show that happens every Friday night in Oahu from the ocean view. We did not see a lot of fish in the glass bottom but the firework show was amazing the music was great and the staff was very kind. I would definitely recommend this experience to others. This operator offers specific glass bottom boat tours that I believe would have been a great way to view marine life.

The experience was very...
The experience was very fun. It was nice to just cruise and see the city from the ocean at night with a nice night breeze. The captain has a very fun personality and made the ride quite enjoyable. The fireworks we also very nice to see from the ocean view. Regarding the glass bottom; do not expect a full see through bottom. Instead there are 4 large windows attached to the bottom of the boat where you can see the ocean floor and wild life.

Another excellent voyage!
This is our 5th or 6th time using the Glass Bottom Boat for the Friday firework show in Waikiki. The captain and his mate are always professional and informative. We learn something new about the area each time. Highly recommended!

In the middle "3".
Our tour was changed, the glass bottom boat was not available. We were put on a sail boat instead. Seating was far less comfortable. We took a night trip so that we could watch fireworks from the water, this we did get to see. So I have a split rating overall. I had to select "yes or no" as to would I recommend it to a friend. The change from one boat to another was very disappointing. However the crew were very hospitable and we did get to see the fireworks.
Response from the operator: Aloha, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent tour. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by unexpected engine issue and the need to change boats to our sister sailboat instead of the glass bottom boat. We understand how disappointing it can be when plans don’t go as expected, particularly when you were looking forward to a comfortable seating experience and the unique features of the glass bottom. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the view of the fireworks and that the crew provided you with hospitable service during your time on the water. Your feedback is essential, and we will work to improve communication regarding any potential changes in our tours. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you might consider joining us again for a different experience in the future and that will be on us. Mahalo for choosing us!

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Waikiki Glass Bottom Boat Fireworks Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
