I had bad experience with...
I had bad experience with the fireworks cruise because me and my wife could not get there. I was getting parking went cruise.
Response from the operator: Aloha Alberto, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that you and your wife were unable to make it to the fireworks cruise because of the difficulty finding parking. We understand how frustrating that must have been, especially when you were already trying to get to the boat and were looking forward to enjoying the evening together. While we cannot control parking availability or traffic around Waikiki, we certainly understand how quickly those challenges can become stressful when you are trying to make a scheduled departure. Our cruises operate on a set schedule, and unfortunately, we are not able to delay departure for guests who are still making their way to the marina. For future guests, we always recommend allowing plenty of extra time for parking, traffic, and walking to the departure location, particularly on Friday evenings when Waikiki can be especially busy. Arriving early can make the check-in process much more relaxed and help ensure there is plenty of time to find parking and get to the boat without feeling rushed. We are genuinely sorry that you and your wife missed the cruise and did not get to experience the fireworks from the water. We hope you will consider joining us again on a future visit to Oahu so we can provide you with the fun and memorable experience you were hoping for. Mahalo, the Go Hawaii Watersports team

Sunset cruise of my dreams
I highly recommend this sunset + fireworks cruise in Honolulu! The complementary Mai tais and beautiful sunset views were spectacular. The fireworks at the end of the cruise made it so special during our stay in Oahu. The only con I have is the check in was a bit confusing- we couldn’t locate the correct line for our cruise. There were multiple fireworks cruises boarding at the same time and the signage was not there to guide us. We were standing in the wrong line and almost missed the cruise! Thankfully, we made it :).
Response from the operator: Aloha, Mahalo for your thoughtful review and for recommending our sunset and fireworks cruise! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the beautiful sunset, the fireworks, and the complimentary mai tais. It is great to know the experience made your time in Oahu even more special. We also truly appreciate your feedback regarding the check-in process. We understand how confusing that can be, especially with multiple boats boarding at the same time. We will be sharing this with our team to help improve signage and make the process clearer for our guests. We are glad you made it on board and had a great experience overall. We hope to welcome you back again in the future for another memorable evening on the water. Mahalo, The Go Hawaii Watersports Team

Great trip to see the fireworks
Had a WONDERFUL trip to watch the Friday night fireworks. Was a great trip and I would recommend it to everyone visiting!
Response from the operator: Aloha, Mahalo for your wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the Friday night fireworks from the water—it really is a special experience. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back again for another memorable trip! Mahalo, Go Hawaii Watersports

Disappointed
We were fifteen minutes late leaving the dock due to a few late arrivals. We were back at the dock earlier than promoted on the website. Only one restroom was working for over 100 passengers. Seating was limited outside.
Response from the operator: Aloha, Mahalo for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet expectations. We understand how frustrating delays, limited seating, and restroom issues can be, especially on a busy cruise. While we do our best to accommodate all guests and keep departures on schedule, we recognize how this can impact the overall experience and will be sharing your comments with our team to help improve operations moving forward. We truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Mahalo, Go Hawaii Watersports

Disappointed
Not appropriate for children. It was a much shorter round trip than advertised. The crew waited fifteen minutes past the scheduled departure. Only one working head for over 100 passengers.
Response from the operator: Aloha, Mahalo for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. We do our best to run the full allotted time for each cruise, however on occasion weather conditions and ocean currents can impact timing for safety reasons. We understand how delays and onboard conditions can affect your experience, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your comments regarding seating and restroom availability will also be shared with our team as we continue working to improve. We truly value your feedback and hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Mahalo, Go Hawaii Watersports

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu cost?
+
Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Waikiki Friday Fireworks Boat Cruise from Oahu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
