Wreck and Reef Dive is a must!
Waikiki Dive center was awesome. Just did the Wreck/Reef dive with Divemaster April and it was a great experience. Dive shop had everything ready to go upon arrival with gear all laid out and labeled per person. Just a matter of trying everything on and then headed to boat. Divemaster April was very professional and ensured everybody had a great experience safely. The wreck five was awesome and we saw sharks, eels and fish. The reef dive was pleasant where we saw octopus, turtles and eels. She pointed out a ton of sea life. Highly recommended! Thanks!

Great dives
The eight dives I did were wonderful and had many respectful close encounters with turtles and rays. Lots of marine life that the dive stuff did a nice job of locating for divers. The shop has many instructors and dive masters that added their own expertise to each dive. Perhaps this led to having to restart everyday of diving like it was day one again for the customer because the staff did not have continuous continuity. This also applies to booking dives before arriving. Having so many different staff members led to some confusion of booking dives. Even with multiple divers on the dive boat at once, the groups were put into smaller groups with many divers having similar diving background experiences put together and the boat never felt crowded. Most dives were a short boat ride to dive locations, the furtherest away was around 7 minutes out. Some dive sites were repeated. Great diving and what seemed to be wonderful diving instruction from Learning to Dive students through divers wanting to become instructors.

Best trip ever
Seeing the ship was the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced. And my guide was amazing. 10/10

Excellent wreck & reef dive trip.
Great dive operation. The capt & dive masters were professional, knowledgeable, & approachable. They run a well-planned, safe dive op. We did a deep wreck dive at the Sea Tiger where we saw a couple of sharks, and then a reef dive where we saw several honu being cleaned by fish. I would not hesitate to dive with them again. Dive masters Ryan & Taylor were outstanding.

Another great morning of diving with Waikiki Dive Center
Had 2 fantastic dives with Waikiki Dive Center and Dive Master April. April was very thorough with her dive brief and setting up each dive. She made sure the dives were safe, but also fun. The Sea Tiger wreck was very impressive and the Kewalo Pipe (Deep Pipe) had great scenery. Saw some great turtle action at both sites. Looking forward to the next time I'm on Oahu to go diving w/ Waikiki Dive Center.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only cost?
+
Prices start at $292 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 227 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only?
+
Around 79 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Waikiki 2 Tank World Class Wreck SCUBA Diving - Certified Only start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
