Canopy Zip Line of Arenal Eco Glide Park was great!
Canapy Zip Line Tour of Arenal Eco Glide Park was so much fun! The entire staff, from the kind woman who answered the phone to all the guides, were friendly, professional, safety conscious, and attentive. Fun time!
We did this activity as a group of 10, including 6 teenage kids. The guides were friendly and helpful. They made me feel comfortable even though I was very nervous. The only negative was that there were too many people so the wait at each station was too long. Try to be at the front of the line if you can. We purchased the photo package at the end. Well worth it.
Response from the operator: Dear Andrea, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback and for choosing our Volcano Forest Zipline experience. We’re happy to hear that you and your group had a fun time and that our guides helped you feel comfortable, especially if you were feeling nervous. We truly appreciate your comments regarding the wait times. Your feedback is very valuable to us, as it helps us continue improving our operations and guest experience, especially during busy times. We’re also glad to know you enjoyed the photo package and that it was worth it for you. Thank you again for your review. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Costa Rica. Fantastic experience!
We were a little afraid because it was raining but once you get under the trees, you stay pretty dry. The view up that mountain was really beautiful ! It felt very safe with 2 metal line going from tree to tree. It is secure at all stops and while zipping down the mountain. My 16 years old had a blast and it s not easy to get a full thumb up for her 👍.
Response from the operator: Dear Caroline, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us! We’re so happy to hear that, even with the rain, you were able to fully enjoy the tour and the beautiful views from the mountain. It’s great to know that you felt safe throughout the entire experience and that our safety systems gave you peace of mind at every point. We especially love hearing that your 16-year-old had such a great time — getting a full thumbs up from a teenager is definitely a win! 👍 Thank you for choosing us and for your kind words. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Costa Rica. Warm regards, Costa Rica Paradise Travel Team 🌿🇨🇷

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Volcano Forest Zipline Activity: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for La Fortuna.
How much does Volcano Forest Zipline Activity cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in La Fortuna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Volcano Forest Zipline Activity take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in La Fortuna is not rushed.
Is Volcano Forest Zipline Activity worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in La Fortuna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Volcano Forest Zipline Activity?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Volcano Forest Zipline Activity suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Volcano Forest Zipline Activity?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in La Fortuna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in La Fortuna and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Volcano Forest Zipline Activity start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central La Fortuna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in La Fortuna?
+
On Outty we rank every La Fortuna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Upper Balsa River White Water Rafting Class 3/4 in Costa Rica, White Water Rafting Class II and III, Authentic Coffee and Chocolate Tour at North Fields. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit La Fortuna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in La Fortuna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
