Night tour with stargazing in volcanic hot springs and astrophotography session.
It was a very complete and varied tour, from lunch and desserts to viewpoints, the history of the place, and each of the magical moments experienced during the experience. Everything is very well thought out for enjoyment and complete disconnection. The guide Jesus makes a huge difference; he conveys energy, joy, and knowledge, ensuring that throughout the entire tour there are entertaining, exciting moments, and lots of laughter. Additionally, the photographs taken by the cameraman are simply spectacular. They manage to capture unique memories and create a true emotional anchor, allowing one to freeze time and relive every sensation experienced in this adventure. Totally recommended for those seeking something different, magical, and memorable. Important: do not forget to bring sandals and very warm clothing to fully enjoy the experience.

5 stars experience
This stargazing and volcanic hot springs tour near San José Volcano was truly an unforgettable experience. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, with smooth transportation, great timing, and a very professional and friendly team. The highlight of the evening was soaking in the natural hot spring pools, surrounded by the Andes, while the night sky slowly filled with stars. Being in warm volcanic water under such a clear sky, far away from any city lights, felt absolutely surreal. The stargazing itself was incredible—you could clearly see countless stars and even the Milky Way, making it a once-in-a-lifetime moment. What really made the experience stand out even more was the photographer. The photos turned out absolutely stunning—perfectly capturing the atmosphere, the night sky, and the entire mood of the experience. It’s not easy to shoot in those conditions, but the results were beyond impressive and something I’ll treasure for a long time. The service overall was excellent—attentive, well-organized, and focused on making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment.

I recommend it 100%
Bathing in hot springs under the starry sky is wonderful, with Condor the experience was unforgettable. Very punctual, very friendly and always very willing to answer all our doubts. I highlight Jesus as a guide and driver and Nico as a photographer, both a 10! All very well organized and gave us enough type to enjoy each stop. 100% recommend this activity with them *as a very personal opinion, I would change the place of lunch as I did not find it very rich

One of my favorite days
I love stargazing, and I’ve never seen the Milky-way, which was the whole purpose of booking this excursion. It was a very magical day! My guide was Jesus and photographer was Nico. They were such a great duo! Probably the best tour guides I’ve ever had. They were both informative, helpful, entertaining, and have a great sense of humor! They went out of their way to pick up every customer at their location, and nothing was really rushed. Pick up was at 12:30, we had lunch, which was a buffet for 20,000 CLP not including drinks. Where we had lunch, there was a mini zoo filled with horses, goats, alpacas, and birds. Afterwards, we went to a beautiful chocolate store, which looked like it was straight out of a fairytale. Afterwards, we went to see a waterfall, followed by a cafe filled with crystals. You were able to order custom empanadas. They were delicious, and the portion size was very generous. I think the cafe was owned by a mother and daughter, who were both very lovely people. They also had 4 dogs, who were so sweet! The cafe also had crystals available for purchase, and for a very low price. I think I bought about 11 crystals for only 14,000 CLP. Finally, we were on our way to the thermal baths. As we got closer, the roads got very bumpy. The roads are not paved. If you have back problems, this may not be for you. The thermal baths weren’t too bad. It wasn’t anything luxurious. They were very simple. You have to bring your own towel, toiletries, and water. As for stargazing, we were able to see the milky-way, 2 nebulas, and shooting stars. We got lucky that night because it was a new moon. If I ever come back to Chile, I would do this excursion again. Hopefully, Jesus and Nico are still there. I would love for them to be my guide again!

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.
How much does Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos cost?
+
Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos take?
+
Plan for about 11.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.
Is Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 11.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Volcanic Hot Springs Stargazing Night Tour Experience With Photos start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santiago?
+
On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santiago?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santiago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
