Outstanding experience
If you're looking for something genuinely different in Hoi An, make time for Vivid Rhum. Having first visited Vietnam 13 years ago, we were searching for the authentic, off-the-beaten-path experiences we remembered, and Vivid Rhum was exactly that. Jenny (apologies if I've misspelled your name!) made the experience so special. She was incredibly warm, welcoming and generous with her time. We loved simply chatting with her. It reminded us of the genuine local conversations we had on our first trip, something that's become harder to find as tourism has grown. She shared the story of how her cousin started the distillery, the early trial-and-error behind their first bottle, and explained the unique production process. The tasting was excellent, especially the jungle banana rhum, which completely surprised us and ended up being my husband's favourite. Guess what? Jungle banana isn’t your regular banana from the shops! Mind. Blown. You have to try it to see what we mean! We also loved learning about the ceramic ageing jars, the naturally cooled barrel room, and how the distillery uses solar power as part of its sustainability efforts. Add in delicious cocktails, a lovely tasting plate, and the relaxed family atmosphere, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Vivid Rhum isn't just a tasting. It’s a chance to meet passionate locals doing something innovative while staying true to Hoi An. We left with a few bottles to take home and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic side of Vietnam.

Great experience.
We had a really good time touring the barbecue and cocktail workshop, high-quality rum. The owner (Paul) is a lovely guy, very friendly and you can talk to him for hours. For those who like to drink or have fun with friends.

Best cocktails exoerience and rhum distillery tour Hoi An
I had a nice experience with cocktail tour and rum experience in hoi an with vivid rhum. I was explained the way local hoi an made their own rhum feom local sugar cane and how amazing they built the distillery and using clean solar power. Very talented people and the rhum is amazing. Deserve all the nice words to describe about this alcohol type.i think if you alcohol fan or like rum, rhum you should try this place. Worth it!
