The service starts at 7:00 p.m., with the pick up of customers from the Hotel in La Paz in private mobility, to move to the bus terminal and take the tourist bus that will take us to Uyuni for 8 hours.

Isla Incahuasi
Visit with photo stops. Visit then the Sal Flats, to know about waterholes and to observe how the salt is being extracted. Then proceed to Incahuasi Island (known as Fish Island) where you can observe the famous giant cactus, and you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Lunch will be served in the middle of the Great Salt Lake, at the convenient time. Then we go to Coquesa and visit the cave of the mummies, which is located on the slopes of the Tunupa volcano, where you can see a beautiful landscape and enjoy the beauty of the Great Uyuni Salt Flats.

Uyuni
Later, before returning to Uyuni, observe the sunset accompanied by a special toast at the largest salt lake of the world! Arrival in Uyuni is approximately 7:00pm. At the end of the tour of the Salar de Uyuni, after a short break, our private mobility will transport you to the bus terminal to take our bus back to La Paz.

The absolut perfect experience! We were picked up from the hotel and boarded the most comfortable night bus with chairs converting into proper beds. In the morning we were given an amazing hotel-room to shower and a great breakfast. Afterwards our guide Lillian picked us up for the perfect day in Uyuni and the Salt-Flats. She was amazing explaining everything, organising a delicious lunch in the middle of the Salt-Flat followed by a breathtaking sunset. The absolut perfect experience! Totally recommended for everyone!

Uyuni Salt Flat Experience (2N 1D) with Joker Expedition
Loved the door to door service of Joker Expedition. From hotel pickup at La Paz, to the bus terminal. The driver stayed with us till we boarded the correct bus. After 8-9 hours of travel overnight, another driver picked us up in Uyuni, drove to the hotel where we had good buffet breakfast. The hotel provided a room where we can rest a little and freshen up. In an hour or so, our tour guide Lily and same driver picked us up from the hotel. Lily is so lovable. She’s kind, happy, and takes the best videos and photos. She brought her small photo props and used them at our pictorials. She made our experience at the salt flats so memorable. I highly recommend her. We also had a good lunch setup at the salt flats. It was so surreal experience having lunch at out of nowhere. At first I was worried because my husband is vegetarian. Our buffet lunch (prepared by Joker Expedition staff) was so good. There was so much variety. After lunch we headed to more areas around the salt flats until it was sunset. We were so lucky that the previous snowfall a week earlier provided a little amount of water on the flat which had provided a good reflection for the photos. The moon shone at the opposite direction the sun was setting. It was absolutely an incredible phenomenon. Our videos taken by Lily were amazing. Due too much water in some areas we were not able to see the cacti in some island. But we were so impressed at the flats already so it didn’t matter. After our experience we drove back to the hotel. Waited a bit till it was near departure time. Our driver, Gabriel, also did a good job keeping us safe throughout the day. Then it was time to depart from Uyuni back to La Paz. Another 8-9 hours of bus travel overnight. Arrived in La Paz early morning and the same driver picked us up from the bus station back to our hotel in La Paz. The sleeper bus ride was a bit challenging but the whole experience was so worth it. Thanks Viator and Joker Expedition for memories we will cherish.

Uyuni tour with joker
Was an amazing experience man Nadia and our guide was amazing and our driver Gabrielle was also amazing. Both went out of their way to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. Gabrielle was an amazing driver and got everywhere on time and even let us wait in his car before being picked up by bus because it was cold outside. Nadia was an amazing guide and her English was amazing. She was so knowledgeable on all the history and so passionate about her country. The lunch was amazing also. My only complaint was that the shower was ice cold but besides that everything was amazing. Nadia and Gabrielle both deserve a raise!

This was an excellent tour. Joker expeditions took care of everything. Showed up when they were supposed to. Had a private tour at the Salt Flats and we couldn’t have been more happy. We have traveled to over 50 countries and this was a top 5 day!
