Disappointing Non Event
We duly turned up on time at Port, couldn’t find rep, missed the boat, only to be told when we phoned head office that the trip had been cancelled due to sickness, but we didn’t get the message until after we had got to the port - difficult for me as I am partially immobile. We then had the task of getting back to our hotel as there was much walking with bags of warm weather gear for the boat journey. This is the second trip with Viator that has been cancelled this year, as one planned in Lanzarote was cancelled at last minute also. We hope to try again on Tuesday!
Response from the operator: Dear Trevor, Thank you for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced. Unfortunately, we were informed at the last minute that the boat owner could not proceed with the excursion due to an unexpected issue, and we immediately tried to offer you another date. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially with the added difficulty of mobility challenges. Your feedback is important to us, and we hope you can give the trip another try on Tuesday for a much smoother experience. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can assist you further.

Went to a couple of...
Went to a couple of villages for respite and the other for dinner. Both had great views, wonderful people, and delicious food. And everyone is so welcoming. The roads are very narrow and twisty. I was glad I wasn't driving. But I also got to see the scenery better
Response from the operator: Dear Jane, Thank you for letting us know about your recent experience with us. Our team here at Cretan Holidays is committed to providing a high quality of customer service and we're very pleased to hear that we have made a good impression on you. It is true that the villages of Mykonos are really beautiful with very friendly people and we are really glad that you have experienced this. Once again, thank you very much and we hope to see you again very soon!

+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mykonos?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
