Great visit to The Hague and Delft city
We had the most amazing time on this tour. Our guide, Steven Attersol, was so knowledgeable and informative. He pointed out the most incredible things in paintings in Mauritshuis and introduced us to a 4th generation Delft potter where we observed the process of creating the beautiful hand-painted Delft pottery. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Steven.

Wonderful Experience for a Day Tour
We had a private guided tour conducted by Steve Attersol. This guy was great! He had extensive knowledge of the region (historically and logistically). Steve was very adaptable to our schedules and made sure that we got where we needed to go on time. He had a lot of know ledge of the paintings in the Mauritshuis. We would highly recommend this tour, and specifically this guide.
Response from the operator: Dear Leo, Thank you so much for your review and you took the time to write it. Steve told me you had a great time and that's what it is all about, we want to offer an experience, because you deserve much more than just a private tour! I will pass the message to him. Kind regards. Marlou

Top notch tour - Excellent guide
Our day long private tour with Stephen was fantastic. He engaged every member of our family throughout and tailored the trip to our interests. His descriptions of the history and technique of the paintings we viewed were detailed and we walked away with a much better appreciation for each than if we had visited the museum on our own. Highly recommend. Stephen is the best guide we have had in a very long time.

Perfect Day!
We booked this Tour for several reasons, one being the included visit to the Mauritshuis Museum to see The Girl with the Pearl Earring. Also, the pick up and drop off at our Amsterdam hotel made it so much easier. Steven was a friendly, knowledgeable Guide and easy to chat with. The walking Tour in Deflt was wonderful and though we had been before, we felt we had seen much more this time around. The visit to the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague was a highlight, with Steven taking us from room to room in this beautiful building, talking about different pieces of art. He never rushed us and we appreciated all he showed us. Then of course, The Girl with the Pearl Earring was beautiful! After, we did a walking Tour in The Hague . We opted to have a quick bite at a local, open air stand, perfect on a sunny day. Overall, we are happy to have chosen this Tour of Delft and The Hague. Delft was lovely. The Hague Tour was also good and it also fulfilled a long time wish to visit “The Girl” and the rest of the Museum Tour added to that. It had all we wanted. Thanks to Steven and Marlou also for the prompt replies to our messages, before and after our Tour. We asked Steven for a recommendation for “ Rice Table” that night in Amsterdam…..and we did go and enjoyed a nice meal with friendly restaurant staff! Thank you Steven! Oh, wear good walking shoes!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.
How much does Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City cost?
+
Prices start at $378 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City take?
+
Plan for about 7.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.
Is Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 72 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 7.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Visit the Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Hague & Delft City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?
+
On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Amsterdam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
