is the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, the vertical city embedded in the rock, where stairs replace the streets between the wild scent of the Mediterranean scrub. A perfect day experiencing the Amalfi Coast
If you’re fortunate enough to spend a day exploring the Amalfi Coast with Luigi, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. From the moment he picked us up in Salerno until the end of our journey through Sorrento and the breathtaking villages of the Amalfi Coast, he made the entire day absolutely exceptional. Luigi is far more than a driver, he is an outstanding guide, a true professional, and one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. His knowledge of the region, its history, culture, and hidden gems added so much to our day. He tailored the experience to our interests, never rushed us, and was incredibly accommodating every step of the way. What impressed us most was the genuine respect and affection everyone seemed to have for him. Everywhere we stopped, locals greeted him like an old friend. It was immediately obvious that Luigi is well known, well respected, and genuinely loved throughout the region. That alone speaks volumes about the person he is. Our day was filled with spectacular scenery, wonderful recommendations, fascinating stories, and effortless transportation, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thank you, Luigi, for making our visit so memorable. You are truly a gem, and we cannot recommend you highly enough. If you’re looking for the perfect way to experience the Amalfi Coast, book with Luigi, you won’t regret it.

Wonderful day with Giustino!
Our family had a fantastic day with Giustino! He was early to pick us up from cruise port and had us to Pompeii quickly to meet our guide for that tour. Once we were done at Pompeii, we made our way to Sorrento with a beautiful view stop for photos and fresh lemon slushes! He arranged a delicious lunch for us and gave us lots of info about the area during all the drive time. Highly recommend!!

They are the best!
Nico and Luigi took our group of 11 from Sorrento to the ferry in Naples for our trip to Ischia. They met us back at the port to drive us back to Sorrento….. our singing and laughing did not bother them… we would recommend having them transport you or take you on any tour! We will miss them both.

Best drivers ever
Luigi and Nicola drove us from Rome to Pompeii then drove us to ferry port in Naples. They are the absolute best! When we come back again we will request them. We felt like they were part of the family

Was not enough time to...
Was not enough time to actually go to all three places. We only had time in Sorrento to have lunch but not to see any of the city itself. Luigi the guide was fantastic!

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano cost?
+
Prices start at $86 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 44 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Visit Pompeii Sorrento Positano start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
