    Our Favorite Tour Guide

We loved our day with Luca. He was a great guide for our group of 10. Initially, he suggested several tour options. Once we made our choice from those options, he provided a detailed itinerary accordingly. Everything about our experience with him was top notch. Meeting up with Luca upon disembarking from our cruise ship was very simple. And then having him guide us thoughout the day, made our time so much more enjoyable and stress-free. His knowledge on logistical details (which lines could be skipped, what times were best for each event for efficiency, keeping us on schedule, insuring we were back to the ship on time, etc.) were invaluable. And yet, he maintained schedule flexibility, so we could linger some here and there, when we wanted to. His knowledge of the area and points-of-interest, along with his fun personality and relaxed style, made him a perfect fit for our group. We loved every minute of the tour, and would book him again without hesitation. We reserved several private tour guides during our 21 days around Italy. Luca was our absolute favorite! Thank you Luca!

    Amazing experience!

Luca is wonderful, you couldn’t ask for more information or more fun! He gave us an amazing experience Pompeii, took us to a terrific restaurant in Sorrento and added a little “surprise” in Capri as well. A fantastic day.

Dream day in Naples & Pompeii

We had an incredible day touring the Blue Grotto, Capri, and Pompeii with our guide, Luca. His knowledge, entertaining personality, and warm hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Luca planned the entire day perfectly, ensuring we saw everything we wanted despite our time constraints. He was attentive to our schedule and made sure we returned to our cruise ship on time. I highly recommend Luca to anyone visiting Italy. Today was truly the highlight of our European trip, and it was all thanks to Luca's amazing personalized tour.

Response from the operator: your dream was mine. Love your family

    Luca is the BEST!

Luca is the absolute best! He answered all our questions before the trip and made sure that our meeting time and pick up were easy and clear. We enjoyed his personality, knowledge, enthusiasm, and his beautiful smile. He is an expert on the history of Pompeii, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. He transported us back in time and brought Pompeii to life! If you are coming to this area, you definitely need to tour with Luca! We sure hope he will come and visit us in the US one day. The day we spent with Luca was the highlight of our trip to Italy!

Smooth sailing while getting it all in one day.

(ENGLISH) - My wife and I have been on many tours. NEVER BEFORE has a tour guide been so good at fitting everything in while making it seem like it was not difficult... When we look back at that day, we cannot believe we did EVERYTHING and yet felt totally stress free as LUCA was calm, clear with directions, kept us on track without fail... BEST GUIDE WE'VE EVER HAD (and we have had a lot of them)!

Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day cost?

    +

Prices start at $10 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Visit Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii in one day start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
