⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional 3 Day Tour with Mohamed – The Highlight of Our Trip to Egypt

We were fortunate enough to spend 3 days exploring Egypt with Mohamed, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. His knowledge, professionalism, kindness, and passion for Egypt made every moment of our trip unforgettable. During our tour, Mohamed took us to the Great Pyramids of Giza, where he shared fascinating details about their history, construction, and the pharaohs they were built for. Standing before these incredible monuments was already breathtaking, but Mohamed’s explanations made the experience even more special. We also visited Saqqara and Dahshur, where we learned about the evolution of pyramid building and saw some of Egypt’s oldest pyramids. Mohamed explained the importance of these sites in such an engaging way that we felt like we were stepping back in time. At Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, he helped us understand the significance of the city and its role in Egyptian history. The Grand Egyptian Museum was another highlight. Mohamed guided us through the incredible collections, sharing stories behind the artefacts and helping us appreciate the rich history and culture of Ancient Egypt. We also visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the Royal Mummies and historical exhibits gave us a deeper understanding of Egypt’s remarkable past. One of the most memorable parts of the tour was exploring Old Cairo. Mohamed took us to the beautiful Hanging Church and the Church of Abu Serga, where it is believed that Jesus, Mary, and Joseph sought refuge during their time in Egypt. He explained the religious and historical significance of these sites with great knowledge and respect. We also visited a stunning mosque, where he taught us about Islamic history, architecture, and traditions. To top it all off, Mohamed arranged an amazing quad bike experience around the pyramids. Riding through the desert with the pyramids as the backdrop was an experience we will never forget and the perfect mix of adventure and sightseeing. What truly sets Mohamed apart is how much he genuinely cares about his guests. He was always punctual, organised, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He answered every question with patience, shared local insights, and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Thanks to Mohamed, we didn’t just visit Egypt, we experienced it. He brought the country’s history, culture, and traditions to life in a way that no guidebook ever could. We leave Egypt with a much greater appreciation for this incredible country and with memories that will last a lifetime. If you are visiting Egypt and want a guide who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, passionate, and genuinely dedicated to making your trip special, then Mohamed is the guide you need. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Mohamed, for an unforgettable experience!!! Yet again, thank you ever so much for much. ❤️

Response from the operator: Dear Elle, I am the one who was fortunate to be with you in these days. Thank you so much for your kind and honest words. It gave a great pleasure to be your tour guide. I wish you and Nick all the best. And looking forward to seeing you again in Egypt when you come to spend your honeymoon 🌹. Stay safe … God bless!

A Journey Through Egypt's Spiritual Heart — Thanks to Mohammed Sobhy

I've taken quite a few tours in Egypt, and Mohammed stands out as the best guide I've had, by far. Of course, he checks all the basic boxes you'd want from a guide here: he's bilingual in English, incredibly attentive to safety, and clearly experienced navigating all of Egypt (we went to Dashour and Saqqara). But what makes him truly exceptional goes well beyond that. Mohammed has a rare gift for bringing the spiritual and cultural dimension of ancient Egypt to life. So many guides I've had before tended to gloss over the deeper spiritual history of the country, or told the story through a narrow lens that centered one tradition over the many others that have shaped Egypt's identity. Mohammed was different. He helped me understand the full confluence of spiritual traditions that have layered onto each other here over thousands of years, from the ancient Egyptian religious cosmology built into the pyramids and the Sphinx, through the many faiths that followed. He spoke about all of it with equal depth, nuance, and respect. Standing at the foot of the pyramids while Mohammed explained the beliefs of the people who built them, how they saw the afterlife, the cosmos, and their place in it, was genuinely moving. It gave me a much richer appreciation for Egypt, not just as a place with impressive monuments, but as a place layered with meaning that's still alive today. If you want a guide who will keep you comfortable and answer your questions, Mohammed does that. But if you want a guide who will actually help you understand Egypt, on a deeper level, he's the one to ask for. Highly, highly recommend.

Response from the operator: Dear Robert, I can’t thank you enough for constructive feedback and support. I am so much happy because I managed to give you a different experience. Whatever we did for you is not enough. I am really looking forward to seeing you again in Egypt 🇪🇬. Thank you for visiting our country the amount of respect you showed to our history and culture. Stay safe and wish you all the best🙏🤝❤️

Unforgettable VIP experience at the Pyramids of Giza!

Our tour guide, Mohammed, was outstanding professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egypt's incredible history. Everything was perfectly organized from transportation, admision fees, to access to the best viewpoints. Mohammed made sure we were comfortable, answered all of our questions, and helped us avoid the crowds whenever possible. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel like VIP guests throughout the entire day. If you're visiting Egypt and want a truly exceptional experience at the Pyramids of Giza, I highly recommend booking a tour with Mohammed. It was one of the highlights of our trip and worth every minute!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much dear Elena, pleased to meet you again after 3 years since I met you and Tom. You are not a guest. You are a family member you know that. My deepest regards and prayers for you and Tom.❤️🤝🌹

Book with Mohammad

Mohammad was the best. Very knowledgeable and informative about all the sites. We had him for two days first at the pyramids of Giza then at saqqar and Memphis. He helped us navigate the hustle and bustle of the Egyptian streets and we were very lucky to have him with us. If he makes suggestions they will be helpful and you should consider them carefully. If you can book with him you should. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.

How much does VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx cost?

+

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.

Is VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 84 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx?

+

Around 29 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does VIP Tour to Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
