About this experience
My name is Philipp, born and raised in Munich. A warm welcome to my hometown! I’m happy you’re here to experience the world-famous Oktoberfest – or as we locals say, the Wiesn. I offer guaranteed access to one of the big beer tents, with a reserved table, great view, and safe, fun atmosphere. 2 beer and roasted chicken per person is included as well. Make the most of your Oktoberfest visit! I’ll share insider facts, stories, and traditions about the festival – from its history to local customs and traditional clothing. Mornings are more relaxed, evenings more lively. Weekdays are calmer than weekends, so choose your tour time depending on your vibe. Each table seats ten people. If you’re a big guy, let me know in advance or book two tickets for extra space.

Well Organized, Fun Tour - Exceeded Expectations!
After lots of research, we picked Fat Bike Tours and glad we did! I went with my husband and son, and we had a fantastic time — even in torrential rain and cold! The guided walk of the grounds before entering the beer tent added to the experience. The guides were friendly, fun, and made everything easy. I’d recommend this group tour for solo female travellers since drink spiking can happen at large events. Highly recommend for a fun, stress-free, and great-value Oktoberfest!

So fun !!
Phillip was a great host and made the experience extra great !! Our tour included a lot of information and history of the Fest which made it more interesting!! However, it was sometimes hard to hear him talk. Loved that he stayed with us for a good part of the Fest. 1/2 CHICKEN WAS SO DELICIOUS!!

The best Bavarian host
Philip has been unbelievable host from start to finish! Considering me and our party have been a bit difficult at times but Philip has accommodated us at each step, I cannot rate him more highly!

Highly recommended
Excellent experience. After a nice tour of the outdoor fest grounds, entered the Paulaner tent for Oktoberfest beers and chicken. Table location was excellent and Phillipe handled all transactions. Its a great way to guarantee a nice table with nice table-mates. Cheers!

Fun tour and Oktoberfest experience!
Philipp was an excellent guide. I appreciated hearing the history of Oktoberfest, learning more about the traditional attire that is worn, and seeing all aspects of Oktoberfest (including the beer tents). The beer tent was a lot of fun. It was lovely atmosphere and made for a wonderful day. I highly recommend the tour for anyone looking to gain the most out of their Oktoberfest experience.

VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent cost?
+
Prices start at $201 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does VIP Oktoberfest experience with table in big beer tent start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
