Tuscany
Loved our driver. He tailored the trip to see what we wanted to see and added some extras. Had a great time. I would recommend this trip to see Tuscany up close and taste some good wine.

Truly HAPPY IN CHIANTI with our Guide Faris
What a wonderful day we had! Faris picked us up at our Hotel (the Albergo del Chianti in Greve in Chianti) and he took us to two towns —Castellina in Chianti and San Donato and then to two wineries. Faris did an awesome job driving through the countryside and touring us around Faris gave us guided tours with in-depth knowledge of all the details/history of these two Chianti towns. He also selected two absolutely amazing wineries — Poggio Amorelli and Luiano. We had extensive tours along with food and wine that was fantastic at both. The van we rode I was clean and comfortable We highly recommend HAPPY IN CHIANTI as your Tour of choice when Chianti!

The Absolute Best Way to Experience Tuscany! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
My husband and I booked this tour for our honeymoon and it was to date one of the best days of our lives. We absolutely loved everything about the tour. Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable/relaxing way to see the Tuscan countryside. I couldn't imagine a more perfect way really. The van is very new, clean, and feels safe. I debated doing vespas but this way, we didnt have to worry about drinking at the winery AND dealing with navigating the small roads of the countryside on moped we were not familiar with driving. The tour guide was extremely kind/knowledgeable and even offered to take pictures of us in some of the stunning towns we had the pleasure to experience. The views from the van were breathtaking as well- almost too beautiful to believe. The winery was so lovely. I am a bit of a wino and loved everything they had on the sampling menu (which was extensive- about 7 wines i think? and olive oil/vinegar tastings as well) was wonderful. Plus, the food was some of the best we had on the trip with an amazing view from your table on the rooftop of the complex. I would recommend the mushroom pasta if they have it- I still get hungry when I think about it. The lunch itself could go for the cost of the trip. Moral of the story, book this now if you are looking for a phenomenal way to experience Tuscany! It was well worth the day during your trip to the spectacular city of Florence. (even if you only have 2 as in our case :)

Fantastic tour of Chianti
My husband and I spent a day with Firas, visiting San Gimignano, Castellina and a vineyard with wine-tasting and lunch. We were the only people on the tour that day and felt so well looked after! Firas gave us lots of interesting information and we had even more time than we were expecting to have. The cost of the tour seemed pricey initially, but was well worth it with how much we saw and did and how much food and wine we got at lunch! It was also great to take photos of the beautiful landscape from the open-sided bus. A really good tour and our best day in Tuscany- highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Thanks so much! I'm really happy to have let you a nice day in my company Grazie Mille Firas

Fantastic in everyway
We had the most surprising and wonderful tour. We traveled from Greve to San Gimignano and Castellini finishing up with lunch and wine tasting. I enjoyed the opportunity to self discover after an initial orientation tour. It was great having both guidance and free time. Our lunch was special too with a selection of cold meats, bruschetta and cheeses and then a pasta dish and small dessert to finish. The food was accompanied by lovely wines. This tour was special, small and personalised. Would highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Hi, Thanks for your kind words! I hope to see you soon in Greve in Chianti Thanks Firas

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van cost?
+
Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Villages of Chianti with lunch and tasting in Open Top Van start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
