Enjoyable coffee making class
I really enjoyed the class. Sam showed me how to make egg and coconut coffee. All staff were friendly and Sam spoke English well.

Coconut Coffee Not Tasty, was fun making egg coffee
This was the one tour/class/booking I took that I was unhappy with in HoiAn, and I did a number of them. There was some confusion about what was included in the class. I booked to make two coffees - Coconut Coffee and Egg Coffee - and a free spring roll was supposed to be included. After making the Egg Coffee, I asked what was next and she said it was finished! After sorting that out, I got the free spring roll (ok, nothing special) while they went to the market to buy coconut. Not sure if they made the coffee differently because of the rush, but the Coconut Coffee was terrible! We blended fresh coconut with ice and spooned out the ground coconut flesh and added it to the coffee. So the coffee was cold and CHEWY. It was just gross. I think the coffee is supposed to have coconut milk (?) not spoonfuls of grated coconut. The staff was very friendly, although not a very good command of English. Can not recommend this one.

How many days do you need in Hoi An?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
