I booked a 6 night 7 day trip to Vietnam. My goal was to get a feeling for Vietnam in a short time frame. KimKim planned and executed an itinerary that was demanding yet wonderful in its planning and listening to my interests. The transportation daily the excursions were all executed extremely well and were done without stress. Good plan and well executed. Stephen Long was on top of everything and performed at a high level.

Thailand in 7 days. Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay....
KimKim, which I wasn't familiar with planned and executed my 7 day trip to Vietnam extremely well. First Hien and then Stephen offered excellent communication throughout the travel. Very responsive and attentive. We were met and toured by great wonderful Vietnamese locals in each area we visited. Their english was very good and everything was on time and included great choices for eating. I can solidly recommend Kimkim to plan and execute your travel in Vietnam and I'm guessing the rest of the world.

7 day Vietnam trip
"I was really happy with Realistic Asia, a great weeks itinerary covering north and south Vietnam. It covered a wide range of things including city tour of Hanoi, visiting the old capital via bikes and cruising down Tam Coc via bamboo boats, 2 day cruise to Halong bay and a jam packed day at Mekong Delta in Ho Chi Minh. A massive shout out to Thang who was on top of things from start to finish, ultra organised providing you with a printed weeks itinerary and messaging you the night before reminding you of your pick up time the following day activities, asking you on how the day went, first class service. With that in mind i would be happy to use realistic Asia again with hopefully Thang at the helm. Vietnam was a great all round trip and would like to explore more of Asia in the near future".

Amazing Adventure!
Long with Realistic Asia set up an amazing tour for us, four couples enjoying Vietnam for the very first time! We saw Vietnam from the north starting in Hanoi through Ha Long Bay to Danang finishing off in Saigon City. Our trip included all our hotel stays (5 stars), transportation to include flight flights, shuttles and private cars as well as most meals and an overnight cruise. What a fabulous experience! Not only would we recommend Long and his team for their professionalism and understanding the assignment. we look forward to utilizing his services again whenever we’re in Southeast Asia. Lucky, lucky us to have found Long & Realistic Asia!

Brilliant tour with great support
Fantastic support in helping us create a custom itinerary for just what we wanted in our short trip to Vietnam. We did group tours (each day a different group but only small groups) with knowledgeable guides. Hotels were excellent in Fantastic locations. Also arranged a custom private food tour in Hanoi which was a fabulous evening. Chris was so helpful throughout, changing things around for us and helping out with our planning and preferences so we got just the holiday we wanted. An amazing country and if we are every fortunate enough to go back we will definitely be giving Chris a call. Thank you

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.
How much does Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City cost?
+
Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.
Is Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Vietnam At Glance In 7 Days - From Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hanoi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hanoi?
+
On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hanoi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hanoi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
