    What you'll see and do

    1. The Old-New Synagogue

The Old-New Synagogue is astonishing because it feels timeless—quiet, strong, and deeply rooted. It’s one of the oldest functioning synagogues in Europe, and stepping near it naturally shifts the mood of a tour from sightseeing to respect. It anchors Josefov with dignity, reminding visitors that Jewish Prague is not just history—it’s living heritage.

      15 minutes here

    2. Prague Castle

Prague Castle isn’t just a single building—it’s an entire world of courtyards, churches, palaces, and viewpoints stretching across a hill above the Vltava. Walking in feels like stepping through a thousand years of power: kings, emperors, presidents, and bishops all left their mark here. Even if you only visit the courtyards and viewpoints, the scale alone tells you why Prague was such an important European center.

      20 minutes here

    3. Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge isn’t just a crossing—it’s a ceremonial promenade, a medieval masterpiece turned into an open-air gallery of statues, views, and street life. In the morning it feels almost sacred, with misty river views and quiet footsteps; later it becomes energetic, filled with music and portraits. For most guests, this is the moment Prague becomes “Prague”—stone towers, the Vltava, and the city unfolding like a postcard on both sides.

      20 minutes here

    4. Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock

The Old Town Hall represents Prague’s civic pride, built when the city’s merchants and guilds wanted power that matched their wealth. The Astronomical Clock is the showstopper—not only for its moving figures, but because it reflects a medieval obsession with time, order, and the heavens. Standing beneath it feels like stepping into a time when a public clock was both science and theatre, meant to amaze the crowd and symbolize the city’s sophistication.

      20 minutes here

    5. Prague Old Town

After the guided walk, enjoy free time in Prague’s Old Town to explore at your own pace. Browse charming lanes and shops, grab lunch or a Czech beer, taste local pastries, and soak up the atmosphere around Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, and the riverfront viewpoints.

    Overall Great Experience

Overall great experience, beautiful city for sure, driver was nice and very respectful and accommodating, the tour guide is also nice, he is very young and needs more confidence I believe, I'm sure he will be as he gains more experience.

    Disaster in Prague

Very long and hot trip but still enjoyable. Driver was 1 and 1/2 hours late picking us up. We had over 100 f heat and later waited in the rain. No excuses——an Uber should have been sent for us. No compensation offered

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, the vehicle broke down unexpectedly, and you were informed about the situation. We immediately arranged for another vehicle to be brought so that the transfer could continue. We understand that waiting was not pleasant, but in the case of an unexpected vehicle breakdown, it is not always possible to provide a replacement immediately. While the driver was dealing with the vehicle change, this time was still part of your scheduled free time, although we understand that you ended up having slightly more free time than planned. As for the high temperatures, unfortunately, the weather is something we cannot control. We understand that waiting in such heat was uncomfortable, and we are sorry that this affected your experience. We are glad that, despite this unexpected complication, you still enjoyed the trip overall.

Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.

How much does Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.

Is Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Vienna: Full-Day Tour To Prague+ walking tour with local guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vienna?

    +

On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vienna?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vienna?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
